Just the right amount of help in the warehouse when it comes to browsing and selecting our final bathroom countertop choice. There is a wide selection and enough people around to guide us in the right direction.
Payment took FOREVER! Spent about 25 minutes sitting alone in a chair waiting for someone to collect payment.
Installers who measured and installed FAILED. He did not notify us that we would be charged $ 150 for plywood installation until day of the installation. Also, did not warn us of the outlet that would be blocked. And he incorrectly cut one of the pieces requiring us to schedule a second appointment to complete the installation. At the second installation, he still had the slab cut incorrectly, but at least had the capability of buffing out the problem.
In the end, when I’m charged a fee that says measurement and installation, I expect it to be the full installation without hidden fees for plywood. Thank God they didn’t try charging for glue.
The only reason I’d recommend to friends is family is for flexibility due to the proximity of my home.

This is a full service company when it comes to countertops. They will get the raw slab, do the measurements, cut and polish, and do the installation. We researched several other providers and were very glad we came to the conclusion to use their excellent services. We did an entire kitchen rehab following a plumbing flood and chose quartz countertops. Cambria’s Bristol Blue, against white cabinets and a white cast iron porcelain sink, looks stunning. Fabrication and installation were excellent. We could not be happier.

I don’t usually write reviews but Cornerstone has been one of the best finds in the Bay Area. My husband and I are remodeling 2 kitchens and a bathroom in our duplex and needed counter tops. After shopping around we decided to go with prefabricated granite and found Cornerstone. We stopped in Cornerstone and found what something we liked. We ordered it and it was delivered and installed on time and at a great price. We then needed plumbing supplies for the bathroom and started talking to Gabe (on his day off!) and he spent 45 min. with us (did I mention it was his day off?) and told us to do a little looking on line etc. and when we found the faucet we liked, he could help us put the rest of it together. And we needed everything since we had gutted the bathroom. We decided on the faucet style, called and set up a time to meet with him and after about 2+ hours patiently going through catalogs and online sites we had everything we needed to put our bathroom back together. He’s a wealth of knowledge when it comes to plumbing supplies! We have since called and ordered additional things for the second kitchen. Gabe has taken great care to make sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend Cornerstone. Gabe, Benson, Librado and the rest of the staff really knows their stuff! PS — They also have a great selection of tiles and we are heading over there tomorrow for bathroom tile!

Went there on 5 – 20 and walked in to the bald headed salesman. I told him I was looking for inexpensive Granite slabs and he directed me to the warehouse stating he would be out in a minute. I questioned if they were not still in the yard where they used to be. He said no. We wandered around the warehouse for about 10 mins and found nothing. I went out the side door to the yard and low and behold, found exactly what I was looking for. I then went in the office and the salesman said «did you find something?» I said yes, I thought you were going to help us. He says, was no one around the warehouse to help you? I said no, you said you would help us. He said, let me get someone for you. After a few more mins someone came and I showed them what I wanted and asked for a price. He took me in the office where we paid for the order and I asked the lady cashier if they could have the slabs out and ready for a pickup Friday between 2 and 3pm. The lady said yes. I showed up Friday (today) and the slabs were still buried in the back of the yard. It took about 25 mins and 3 guys to dig them out. The guys all stood around looking at each other a lot.
So, how does a place stay in business where it appears no one knows what is going on? The salesman is clueless, the cashier forgot to have my order ready and the yard guys don’t seem to have a clue.
It seems their customer service is non-​existent. 1 star is too many.

OK selection and prices for boutique store. A couple of products turned out to be slightly defective so do check your products carefully before you bring them home. Reasonable service but there was a discernible reluctance to do more once the sale had been completed. One should always check prices in the superstores first; if the items are available, prices are often appreciably better, as I found out too late.

Gabe is great. We walked in looking for remnant stone for our bathroom countertop and ended up buying our sink and faucet from him rather than our usual supplier. He was helpful, knew exactly what we were looking for and offered a more than reasonable price. Worth the drive to South San Francisco.

Gabe at Cornerstone is amazing. I put countless hours of detailed research and thought into my bathroom remodel. I went to numerous showrooms and finally found met with Gabe who helped me make the choices that were right for me. He patiently walked me through the pros and cons of each brand and product. I am thrilled with the customer service from Gabe as well as the rest of the Cornerstone team who did my installs. I will never consider buying items for such a large job from the web as the customer service and pricing at Cornerstone are unmatched. I will definitely be going here when remodeling my kitchen.

Working with Gabe was one of the least stressful parts of our home renovation. It’s easy to get overwhelmed trying to pick out finishes for your home. Cornerstone has a good selection of mid– to high-​end finishes, just about everything you need for bathroom fixtures, vanities, tile, etc. Gabe listened to what we wanted, made some great suggestions, and led us to products that were good quality at a good price, all with no hassle. He is very responsive and is fun to work with. Great customer service and great experience all around.

If a contractor hadn’t recommended this place, I would have spent more than necessary. Period. Be it fixtures, tile, or stone, the prices are competitive. I’ve purchased both tile and quartz countertops here and the exchange has been hassle-​free (just ask someone with experience how many things are hassle-​free during a remodel). I think I visited the showroom about 57 times and not one time did anyone ever kick me out or refuse to answer what was probably the same question I’d already asked 56 times. Impressed.

I would give them 6 if I could. Gabe and Benson helped us with a long-​distance remodel (plumbing fixtures, bathroom cabinetry, tile, flooring, etc.) and could not have been more helpful. These guys are inside sales guys– accustomed to dealing with trade buyers– so you get all the knowledge and supplier network without any of the retail headache/​BS/​nightmare. They stock pretty much anything and things they didn’t have they could get. Complicated orders were delivered on time (to another state no less) and correct. A manufacturing defect in some of the toilets (bad castings) was remedied quickly and painlessly. And to top it off we thought that the pricing on all of this was as good as you’ll see anywhere, including on the internet. We can’t recommend them highly enough.

With SO many home design centers spanning the Peninsula, I’m so pleased that I stumbled upon Cornerstone. Gabe Schweitzer was extremely helpful. Remodeling can be very stressful with endless decisions to make and Gabe made the whole process easy! He GOT my style and put in so much time and effort in designing my spaces to fit my measurement requirements and taste level. I can’t recommend him enough! Cornerstone’s prices are very fair and competitive for high quality products but what makes them stand-​out is their stellar customer service and support. All of my products also arrived in a very timely fashion, ahead of the projected schedule which was only a bonus!!! All around a great experience. I would highly recommend Cornerstone and Gabe to all my friends and family!

We purchased our countertop granite from Cornerstone. They had a great selection of colors and worked diligently with their installers to make time for us. I took off one star because we were given a countertop that clearly did not look like the rest of them, even given that the larger island pieces were a bit darker in general. I’m not sure that it was the installers who decided to find something themselves to match the color rather than the name of the stone we picked but I felt since they were hired by Cornerstone, Cornerstone should have had caught that error. Although Benson asked if we would pay for the cut piece we refused to install, he finally absorbed the cost and had us pick the exact stone that would match the rest of the granite countertop at no extra charge.
Aside from the case of the mismatched countertop, Benson and his team worked very well with us to find, order and install our countertops. In the end they turned out beautifully and after visiting many other granite and marble shops which didn’t have what we wanted, we were pleased to find the pieces we wanted, their timely service and follow through.
Just make sure you pick for yourself the exact pieces that you want and everything will work out well.
I also wish I had gone with Gabe in the plumbing supply area, since I had gone to another place but had a tough time ordering what I needed. Unfortunately I ordered items at a store closer to me, but from what I hear, I probably would have gotten much better service here.

The 2 stars I am giving is for the selections. This store gave me one of the worst experience. On my 1^st visit I was looking for tiles for my fireplace. they have very good selection, but the price is on the high side. The particular style that I was looking for is over my budget when I got the quote from the lady, so I picked another cheaper style and told her I would like to order them. I thought she went back to her computer to put in the order or went back to the warehouse to check on the stocks, I waited for about 10 minutes and walked around to try to find her. With no luck of locating her I asked another sales lady and got told that she left. I was thinking WHAT THE! She was in the middle of helping me and she just left without letting me know???
The other girl who helped me is friendly and knowledgeable. told me that the tiles can be picked up in 3
contractor went on the 6^th day to try to pick them up and was told it’s not there yet. Come back tomorrow .When he went back the next day the tiles were in the company’s truck. They didn’t pick it up from the warehouse until my contractor showed up.
I was thinking to myself that I would never want to deal with this company in the future. Unfortunately a few days later my contractor told me that I need a few more tiles, so I had no choice but to call to order 2 more boxes. I told the lady on the phone about the last incident and hope it will not happen again this time because I don’t think it’s right for my contractor to have to make 2 trips. She promised me that would not happened and he can pick it up on Wed after 2 pm. He went back on Thursday and got told again to come back the next day. They just didn’t want to pick it up from the warehouse? They’re trying to pick up more orders together? If that’s the case, then don’t promise your customers that it will be there for pick up when you don’t even have it.

Recently visited to purchase a new hand shower for my mother-​in-​law who suffers from Arthritis. Her current one wasn’t helping her, and I was ignorant of what to purchase and where to start. I met Gabe at the counter as I entered the plumbing area. He was extremely knowledgeable, asked all of the right questions (many hadn’t even occurred to me to ask) and made some recommendations based on my needs. He wasn’t at all pushy, and made the whole process very easy to endure — and informative at the same time! Well my mother-​in-​law loves her new hand shower, and Gabe made the process seamless and enjoyable. i will definitely be back when it comes time to do that kitchen remodel!

I went to Cornerstone recently and very disappointed with their service!!!
I was the only one in their showroom, but NO ONE came to help me except the Hispanic guy who manages the granite and marble piece came to answer some of my questions.
There are plenty of places I can shop for my new kitchen and bathrooms, if they don’t need my business, why bother even go there anymore???

Everything is modern and beautiful here. Less uptight and stuffy from Bedrosian Tile and Marble across the street.
