BACA’s saved my hide when my 46 year old block snapped the camshaft in half leaving me without a ride but BACA’s came to the rescue and Steve who runs this fabulous shop guided me through the build process helping me choose a proper modern cam for today’s commute and kept me updated while he worked his magic including a set of high flowing heads. This block runs strong and solid with no issues whatsoever because I listened to his knowledgable advice suggest an electric fan to keep the motor cool during stop and go gridlock traffic. Within a few short weeks, I was back on the road stronger than ever. Thank you, Steve!

Last minute I needed to find a machine shop to work on the head for my 2.3L Duratec engine rebuild and this shop caught my attention. I saw them the next day after calling them with the confidence they could do what I needed. Brought in the new springs and retainers, cams, valves and seals, as well as the engine head of course. After taking it apart they informed me that the valve guides needed to be redone due to the damage the last owner caused. Within a week they had the head gasket matched ported and polished beautifully and had me come by to see the head get assembled. Phenomenal people to work with. You will not regret it. After finishing my engine build and swap I got my car tuned and I’m now the proud owner of a 200+ whp naturally aspirated Ford Focus. I highly recommend this shop.
