The quarter deck is out of this world, Jody browns are something to write home about, and the tug scrambles are phenomenal, great greasy spoon, awesome service, waitstaff who cares, and a awesome small town vibe. Sit at the two 50’s horseshoe booths or grab a table. The coffee’s hot and you won’t get 2 sips down before it’s re-filled. Awesome, awesome, awesome

I had eggs, toast and bacon with cheesy hash browns. My boyfriend had the steak and eggs. It was outstanding. Note that the cheese on the potatoes was American, not cheddar. It did not matter to me, but it might to someone else who might have expected cheddar.

Good solid choice for simple breakfast. Clean environment. The food was fresh and prepared well. I had hash browns and eggs over medium. I opted for a pancake vs. toast. The coffee was just made –lots of cream and sugar were on the table. No drama, no problems, just an enjoyable place to fill up my pie hole and move along for the day.

My favorite place for breakfast. They have many good choices on their menu. The steak is extremely tender and delicious. Prices are very reasonable. For a treat order the Jordy browns, it’s hashbrowns with sautéed onions and cheese on top. Their coffee is simply the best I’ve had. The lunch selections are pretty good too and also good prices. If you are anywhere nearby you should stop by and try this place.

This place offers pretty much the best breakfast value around. It sure beats the offerings at the main breakfast chains!

My favorite breakfast place for comfort food breakfast and the service is always good. It’s not foo-foo food so if you are looking for gourmet — go someplace else. The staff are very friendly and the portions are large. I highly recommend the«Jordy Browns’ I don’t know who they are named for but they are great, cheesy hash browns. I feel comfortable going there alone, sitting at the counter and agree sometimes the local regulars can make the atmosphere a little cool but if you reach out, they warn up quickly and the experience is enjoyable. Or they are happy to leave you alone as well. They don’t take checks anymore so make sure you have cash or cards.

Went to this diner based on other glowing reviews from other Unilocalers. As always, great call, guys! A little, neighborhood family owned establishment. The kitchen is wee, but the portions are GINORMOUS. I almost cried when I saw the size of the omelet, knowing I could never finish it. Delicious food served piping hot by a genuinely friendly and caring staff. What’s not to like? Husband had the biscuits and gravy, also delicious and large portions. Our coffee cups were never less than half full, and service is swift. The place was full of regulars, and if I lived closer, you could count me in those ranks, too.

If you go here– GETTHECHEESYHASHBROWNS!!! Yum. Covered in what is probably velveta with onions, peppers, and some other seasonings that are delicious. Everything else i can leave or take. Typical greasy spoon diner. Crowded with regulars, and I definitely felt some coolness from that direction– and I’m not a snob, but wearing jeans that fit and a tank top with a fitted sweater and a zip up sweatshirt made me and Bubbles the best dressed people in the place by MILES and we just FELT like we were being stared at til we left. Go for the hashbrowns, but don’t scare the locals.

T & T has been around for years(20 now I think) and isn’t going anywhere. It’s definitely a fixture in South Saint Paul. The food is definitely above average in comparison to your typical breakfast diners you’ll find in other small neighborhoods. The service is friendly and you’ll see regulars everywhere which is almost becoming unique in this day and age. They have just about every breakfast favorite you can think of so if you can’t find something for you put your glasses on.

I hesitate to write this review because this place is teeny tiny and I would hate to wait too long for breakfast on the weekend if more people learn about this little gem in South St, Paul. After dropping our pooch Teddi off at Silver Dog for a grooming, I turned to Unilocal and found great reviews on this place so we gave it a shot and boy am I glad we did! This most definitely is going to be at the top of our weekend breakfast rotation list. Lets start with the server. Everyone working here is super duper nice and friendly. When this picky girl asked about the hollandaise sauce, she asked if I wanted to try it.Ummm.Yes Please! She not only brought me a little cup of hollandaise but also a sample of the sausage gravy which I had also inquired about. Both sauces were delish! I wanted to lick the little containers clean. I had such a hard time deciding but I already had decided at this point, this was not going to be our last time here, so I went with the Biscuits and Gravy. My daughter got the breakfast burrito. My platter came and the biscuits were smothered in gravy with tons of sausage. It was probably the best biscuits and gravy I have ever eaten out. I pride myself on my B &G but this one might top mine. I had to bring some home, that’s how much was on the plate and it was served hot hot which I love! My daughter also enjoyed her breakfast burrito and loved her bite of my B&G. The coffee cups were nice and big and always refilled promptly. I can not wait to go back this weekend and try the eggs Benedict…
