History
Established in 1922.
The South St. Paul Public Library was founded on December 1, 1922, and has been an integral part of the community ever since. We are one of the few independent libraries still operating in the Twin Cities. As such, we are funded by the city of South St. Paul, MN, and are an affiliate of the Dakota County Library System.
It is the mission of the South St. Paul Public Library to support lifelong learning and recreational library use by encouraging a desire to read to enrich the quality of life.
