Davis Alterations and Building (DAB) has been in the carpentry, remodeling and custom home business in Vermont and New Hampshire since 1984. Founder Larry Davis started building log homes in the 70s and has expanded his knowledge and skills over the years to professionally manage and complete all residential and light commercial construction projects. DAB can design and plan your new construction. As a general contractor Larry will manage your complete project including the: electrical, plumbing, excavating and permitting.

The fully equipped DAB carpentry shop in South Royalton, VT will design and build custom doors, windows, mill-​work, cabinets and built-​ins.

The DAB team can handle your structural repair: sills, roofing, siding, framing and foundations. We have been trained in Insulated Concrete Form construction (ICF) and Structural Insulated Panels (SIP) for walls and roofs. These methods are two of the most energy efficient building practices in the industry today.
