European Bakery

Best polish store in the area! They have anything you need! I would know– I’m polish! Fresh cold cuts, great polish bread, donuts. You name it/​they have it. And the new owners– go extra miles for their customers!

Exploring South River for some Polish/​European food, I spotted this place.
The bakery is called «European Bakery» but theres nothing European about it. It’s mostly Polish.
Not interesting, I saw mostly the local people coming in. They don’t have any specials.
The place is very small, with some groceries and a deli section, and a small bakery section. They also have a sitting area with coffee.
Not the cleanest place I saw either.
The products were a bit expensive compared to other Polish Markets.
The service was nice but the servers don’t know how to speak English.
If you drive here, there is only street parking, which is hard to find in South River.
There was one major problem with the products I bought., that I never experienced anywhere else. When I got home and opened the cold cuts, they were slippery and it smelled.
I went back to the shop and tried getting my money back but they would not refund it.
I also tired the «galareta» which is a jelly with meat and vegetables, it was tasteless and a bit dry.
I would not get anything from here again!
