Sunita Travel Agency

Terrible customer care and service. This review is based on my recent experience of helping my mother book travel tickets abroad.
I offered to book the tickets online through the airline themselves, but my mother felt better to go through Sunita travel agency because she has been using them for years.
When the travel date approached my father was hospitalized and of course my parents couldn’t make the trip. My mother went into the agency and told them the situation and Sunita Travel told her that they would help her.
It is now 2 ½ weeks later and there has been no help. Someone at the agency actually put my mother on hold for close to and hour without ever responding back to her. She had to hang up and call back and the agent rushed her off the phone.
The purpose of using a travel agent is for ease of booking tickets and handling problems that could potentially arise.
It seems everything runs smoothly when no problems come up, but when they do your better off booking it online yourself because from this experience I can say it would have been better off doing that in the first place, but of course hindsight is always ²⁰⁄₂₀.
When looking for an excellent travel agent you have to factor in customer service and care in both good and bad times.
Time to make a switch to someone else.
