Nail Co

I have visited Nail Co. on several occasions (every two weeks for a bulk of the summer) and I can say it is the best salon in the Portland area for a great manicure and pedicure. My favorite nail tech is Kelly — I visit her frequently and I’m always greeted by a friendly smile and very detailed attention to my nails. This place will take care of you and give you what you want — a killer manicure without the fuss!

I’m in Nail Co, just got manicure and pedicure! Nicky did it and she did a great job! Unlike in other nail salons I’ve been to, the staff here is very nice, helpful and friendly.
There is T. V, and magazines. The massage chairs are comfortable and I absolutely love how my nails look!
Definitely coming here again.

Clean, efficient, would definitely go back. I got an efficient and really beautiful shellac manicure before my wedding and one week later still had no chips!

I visited Nail Co for the first time, a little over a week ago with a friend. I got a gel manicure & pedicure. My experience had its pros and cons.
I will say that the staff members were all very friendly and accommodating. Despite being pretty busy, we were in the pedicure chairs within 5 minutes of arriving. They were also very helpful with finding a specific polish color that my friend was looking for.
They were pretty efficient with getting our pedi/mani’s done, but weren’t visibly rushing, which is good. However, my gel manicure wasn’t/isn’t great. It’s about to start peeling. My big toe already has a chip in the polish, too. I think it’s due to my tech just not doing a totally thorough job on either. I recently moved back to ME from RI, and I never left the salon I always went to in RI feeling dissatisfied with my nails/​toes. So my expectation level may be a bit skewed I suppose.
I’m hoping it was just a ‘by chance’ sub-​par experience in regard to the quality of service I received. I think I’ll probably give them another shot, mostly because of the above average customer service & the number of positive reviews they’ve received in the past.

I’ve been back several times since my first visit/​review and I really, REALLY wanted to love this place but the service is extremely inconsistent. Sometimes my nails (both manicures & pedicures) lasted weeks and other times it only took a few days before chipping began, which is super disappointing.
All the girls here are SUPER nice, but unfortunately that doesn’t make up for the so-​so service.

Great service, professional and very clean! My friend and I were greeted immediately with smiles and lots of information about their new nail products and what would be best for first-​timers.
The result was wonderful, my nails look and feel great. My friend and I got a shellac manicure – 25 bucks. She has much prettier nails than I because mine are stubby, so that’s why I’m not attaching a picture, but trust me, GREAT!
I will be back.

I took my bridal party of 6, and three family members the day before my wedding for mani/​pedis, back in early October. Not only were they able to book the appointment and see us on time without any problems, but they offered such wonderful service. They even gave me a gift certificate for $ 15 as a thank you for bringing in such a large group. They were super efficient and did an amazing job. My manicure lasted the whole weekend and even into my honeymoon for awhile! I would recommend them to anyone in the Portland area. The price is right and the service is so worth it!

Stopped in here while visiting Portland for a wedding. Super impressed with the quality of service and the kindness of the staff. It was also exceptionally affordable. Just $ 25 for a pedicure! And they noticed I was in a little bit of a hurry and wrapped my toes in plastic wrap so I could put my shoes back on. They also mentioned that if my toes got messed up at all I could come back in before the wedding. Would definitely recommend this place and will come back whenever I’m in Portland.

First time I went here was pleasant – friendly staff, hot stone massage (pedicure), good shellac manicure. Second time, however, was very disappointing. I got a shellac manicure and the nail technician (although she was very nice and sweet) really screwed it up. You have to be with very METICULOUS with shellac as once it’s dried, the polish hardens. Since she painted it all over my cuticles and on my skin, it was very uncomfortable and looked HORRIBLE. I went back and got it fixed but the nail polish on one of my fingers still chipped off.
They also charge extra $ 5 for shellac removal even when you make a shellac appointment – so total is actually $ 30, not $ 25. I’ve never gone to a salon that does that before.
Will not return.

I came here for the first time in several years! I wanted a mani-​pedi and a shellac for my manicure. The price for both was very reasonable, and all included a little extra like hot stone massage on my legs and a hand/​arm massage after my manicure.
I was seen right away as well and the woman was very kind and talked to me quite a few times and was very friendly. I would definitely go back again!

Came here again today and the salon owner did my manicure and pedicure. I’m so pleased with the quality of work the girls here perform and even more so with their friendliness. It was a fun hour filled with a lot of giggles and some very serious nail polish application. Looking forward to going back in two weeks!

Had a great pedicure after running a 10k. The massage chairs are the best I’ve ever sat in. They did a great job and because they didn’t have a long wait first thing in the morning we were able to dry in the chair. Will come back next time I’m in Portland.

I’ve been getting my nails done for years all over this state and others I have lived in. This place was great I was able to bring my 9 year old and 6 month old. They were thorough and incredibly friendly. We only got their regular pedicure but it was all we needed and I enjoyed it even with a baby on my lap. I loved their massage chairs and they had a great selection of name brand colors. I will be back to try out the spa pedicure sans kids;) Thank you!

Went there on Friday and at first almost walked out with how one of the nail techs treated this lady and her kid. Both had been waiting before me and the tech tried to get me in before them. I had to tell the tech they had been in longer and to take them first. They tech asked if the little girl was getting a full pedicure too and she said yes. They body language and attitude of the tech was unwelcoming and unprofessional. I hope the manager talked to her about that. I went next with someone else and she was amazing. It was relaxing and looks great. So it’s a great place but that tech almost had them lose 3 customers. If they would have walked I would have too.

Hot stone massage included with the basic pedicure, extremely clean equipment, great attention to cuticles (even on my toes!), fair prices, and lovely staff. I’ll be back for sure!

Excellent service and some nice «extras» like use of hot stones during a regular pedicure. Very clean and relaxing environment!

Went here on a Sunday morning and loved it! The staff was friendly, there were tons of color choices, and the work is done excellently. Manicure and pedicure for $ 35.
