I was getting no heat on my 2001 Mercury Sable. After an estimate back in November for about beau coup bucks, I finally did some web research last weekend and learned a lot. I called ability and told them what I thought the problem was. They agreed and, candidly, told me flushing the heater core would do the trick but it was likely a temporary fix. I now have heat, but was advised to replace the coolant tubes and have the radiator flushed. It likely we end up costing $$$ but I now am more confident with what is involved in the fix and why it needs to be done.
I will take it to them to do the tube, hose, coolant replacement.
Would recommend them.
