The best cakes ever!!! We ended up here after a couple other wedding cake shops for a trial. We got to sit and tastes a few different style cakes. I remember these flavors crème brule one, pistachio, a berry one which was DELICIOUS (I also loved the pistachio one). We had a hawaiian style wedding so we wanted more of a coconut beachy flavor. She brought out this amazing filling that was full of coconut and said she could make us a cake with that. We were in love with the flavors so we were all for it! We did buttercream icing instead of fondant. She also created a wavy texture on the outside to match our beachy island feel. Our guests couldn’t get enough of this cake! I am so happy everyone loved it as much as we did. I had people asking for more after it was gone! I can’t wait to enjoy our cake top in one year :) Thanks again to the team at Fantasy Frostings!

Best cake place in south Pasadena !!! Hands down amazing cakes. I got 3 different flavor a for my birthday and everyone loved it. The design of my cake was amazing. Customer service was great and very helpful. I can wait to order another cake. I’m going back in March for my husband birthday cake. I had some left over cake and after 4 days cake was still fresh and moist. I will never look and taste cakes the same.

We tried cake at three different places and Fantasy Frostings was miles above others. First, they have unique and tasty flavor combinations. It was hard to narrow down the field. Second, from looking at their portfolio, I could see the quality and range of styles they can produce and that they have many years of experience in the business.
We decided on two layers of Crème Brûlée cake and one layer of Lemon Lavender. People were raving about the cake. We spent the money for a high quality product and it was delivered– who wants the last thing people taste at an event to be subpar?! People were going back for seconds and thirds– we forgot to save our top tier and now we don’t have anything saved for our anniversary. Luckily, this just means we’ll have to order an anniversary cake from Fantasy Frostings.
I wanted a simple design and Leslie delivered exactly what I wanted, even though I had given her very little to go on. I brought some fruit and berries to decorate the cake and the designer from Fantasy Frostings put them on in such an artistic way.
Can’t wait to use them again!

I wish I had the words to let you know how good these cakes taste. There’s a great picture of my (now) husband taking his first bite, with his eyes popping out of his head with delight. I wish I could post it, but I’d like my marriage to last. So, you’ll just have to trust this stranger when he says that Lesley’s cakes are most likely going to be the most flavorful, light, moist, delicious, addictive items of baking that you will ever taste. My only regret is having just one slice during the wedding ceremony. Our greedy guests had snapped up the lot before I had a chance for second servings. Please, support this incredible cake maker and give your taste buds the experience of their lives in the process.

From tasting to design to the finished product, Leslie was great to work with in creating our custom wedding cake! We had a lovely elegant beach reception that ran the risk of appearing too «beachy,» and Leslie was great at finding a way of incorporating water tones while not sacrificing the very traditional and formal look we wanted. We ended up with a lovely three tiered blue watercolored cake with blue and white sugar flowers, with lavender lemon and strawberry and champagne layers. The three tier cake adequately served 50, with enough slices left over for us to enjoy that night :)

I had my wedding at Shutters and as part of the package there we were able to select a cake from a few different bakeries. I was given a tip that Fantasy Frostings has the best «tasting» cake and after doing a few tastings I definitely found that to be the case.
We chose 2 flavors: pistachio and crème brûlée. The crème brûlée had pieces of the brûlée-​d sugar crumbled up in the frosting. I’m sure you can imagine how amazing this tastes.
Our cake was also beautiful. Literally the cake of my dreams.
We also used Fantasy Frostings for our dessert table, we rented cake stands and utilized their help for setup. The dessert bar came our beautifully and all of our guests loved the little desserts.
Fantasy Frostings was one of my fav vendors from the wedding. Great taste, great flavors, great style and the best service.

We couldn’t have picked a better spot to order our wedding cake! From beginning to end, the service was perfect.
— First, the tasting was perfect. After our first *unnamed* tasting which was very disappointing, this was fun and personable. We took our time and truly enjoyed each bite. Every single flavor was good, but when I found out they had funfetti/​confetti flavor, I was sold.
— Cake was pricey, but we were only feeding 45 guests. We were able to choose quality over quantity, and I am so glad we did.
— We were able to call at a later date to pay for the order.
–The delivery was on-​time to early, and the delivery person perfectly placed the flowers for us. The design was carried out perfectly– I had sent them a picture and asked them to copy it.
–The taste of the cake was BEYOND amazing! TWO MONTHS LATER my family at a family gathering was discussing how delicious the cake was and how many multiple pieces they had! My cousins agreed that it was the best wedding cake they had ever had.
–We had a three tier cake, 9″/7″/5″. Top and bottom were «Confetti» flavor, and middle was the Raspberry Satin… both perfect.
–I’m hoping to save up to buy another cake for our 1^st anniversary… and keep it all to ourselves!

OMG! I love them! I bought the 20 – 30 ppl cake: banana Nutella! EVERYONE AT THE PARTY HAD A PIECE! Everyone wanted seconds and 3rds! Usually when I go to party’s no one eats the cake! The actual cake design was perfect! Thank you so much!!! I will forever use you for my cakes! Deff recommend. I’m so happy!

Thanks to Leslie and her team for making us such a beautiful and delicious wedding cake! Everything from the tasting to payment to final delivery was a total breeze with Fantasy Frostings. The tasting was free and every flavor was delicious — it was hard to decide!
We went with banana pecan for the top two tiers (My wife’s pick. If you ask her, she’ll go on and on about how good it is!) and with chocolate sour cream cake with toffee crunch filling for the bottom tier (my pick!).
The design was simple palette knife in white butter cream. The day of the wedding, the Fantasy Frostings team was on time and did a great job of applying the flowers that our florist had supplied. It looked beautiful and tasted great!

This place is AMAZING and was worth every penny! My wedding venue provided cakes that were really awful, so ugly! I Always wanted a beautiful cake for my wedding so we bit the bullet and decided to get something we would adore and suffer the cost+ cake cutting fee our venue slammed on us. My husband and I are both artists, so lots of cake places were disappointing or meh for the cost~ we really needed someone with a creative passion that we could just relax and let them do their thing. Meeting with them was wonderful, the cakes all tasted so yummy and we sat down and showed her photos and she sketched out the perfect cake for our wedding and budget. She even worked in some pre-​made flowers that still looked AMAZING but were a bit more cost effective for us since we wanted a lot of flowers on the cake.
We had one final meeting before the wedding to hammer down the last details and I knew she would not let me down, she really is an artist. I wanted little bows on the side and she happily hopped in the back and came out with the perfect fondant mold to make them.
The day of they arrived on time and delivered the cake and even snapped a photo of it, I wanted to cry! IT WAS BEAUTIFUL!!! Like a pinterest cake of my dreams come to life! We stopped taking wedding photos to go look at it! When it came time to finally eat the cake it was delicious! I hate fondant, but the fondant they use is really tasty and soft! Months later everyone still talks about how beautiful the cake was and how delicious it tasted. Next time I need a beautiful cake I will be back, she is not cheap price-​wise, but if you are looking for something beautiful, creative, and carefully executed it really is worth every penny.
UPDATE: Ah it seems my husband posted his review as well! I had no idea haha, we are both super happy though!

Wooow our cake for our wedding #Lovelyday2014 turned out just dreamy… Leslie was fantastic to work with. She is brutally honest and has a great eye on presentation. She makes your life so easy and will stirr you in the right direction if need be.
Presentation is top notch, but wow. the taste of the cake is just to die for. When we first walked in and had our interview as well as tasting it sealed the deal for us right away because the cake options she serves you during tasting, is to die for. We had such a hard time deciding which flavor to go with because there were so many great flavors… Hands down, they were the best tasting cakes I’ve ever tasted and the idea of being able to serve them at our wedding was just too hard to pass.
Everything from tasting, to planning to delivery was perfect… If there is one bump to point out through the process was that we were told that the cake would be served on a 14inch white flat base, when it was actually 15~ 16 inches. Because we had gotten a 14inch cake stand after being informed that it would have a 14inch base we ended up having a solid cylinder shaped cake stand that was smaller than the base so we ended up not using the cake stand altogether. The cake looked amazing without the stand anyways so we were still so very happy, but had we known it could have been even better. For future reference, for clients that want to get their own custom cake stands, if you could let them know exactly what color and size the base is, that would be perfect. Truthfully having seen Fantasy Frostings cakes, you really don’t need a stand because her design sense speaks for itself.

My experience with Fantasy Frostings is not up to par with the rest of the reviews here. When I contacted Fantasy Frostings I informed them that I wanted a small cake for our wedding, which would solely be for the cutting of the cake ceremony.
We arrived on time for our cake appointment, but Leslie did not. We waited about 15 minutes for her, but that did give us some time to take a peek at their lovely photos.
When Lesley sat down she made no real attempt to be personable, but maybe that is just her personality and I cannot fault her for that completely. Her demeanor immediately changed once she found out,(or remembered) that we weren’t going to be spending more than $ 200 at her shop, and rudely asked «Oh, so you have someone to pick it up right? We don’t deliver for that price».
Policies are policies, but don’t treat your clients like second rate citizens for information that you were already privy to.
When our wedding day came my maid of honor picked up our gorgeous cake. The cake itself was packaged in the most flimsy pastry box I’ve ever seen, and there was no cover for it. Imagine picking up a beautiful cake with just an open doughnut box for support. We barely made it to the wedding location with out destroying it. You would think that a place like this with high quality cakes would have figured out a way to package their work as to best protect it.
The cake itself gets a 5 star rating. It was BEAUTIFUL, and tasted delicious. I just wish the customer service that went along with it was of the same caliber as the cakes they produce. If there is another event that calls for a special cake, we will likely be looking elsewhere.

This place is a good example of you get what you pay for! Its expensive but ooohhhh my is it good! The top layer was pistachio & the bottom white with fresh strawberries. Our guest’s loved it!!! Thank you fantasy frosting!

My wedding cake was exactly what I wanted and tasted amazing! I work in the wedding industry myself and I appreciated my no-​nonsense consultation. I knew that they understood what I wanted and I felt confidant that I was going to get it.
I went to a wedding just a couple of weeks after mine and I realized how good my cake from Fantasy Frostings really was. No offense to my step brother, but my cake blew doors on his in the taste department! I cant recommend them enough! From beginning to end it was perfect!

If I could give a million stars I would. Consider this review to be highest remark anyone could ever give a company. Leslie was absolutely amazing in all aspects. I emailed her two pictures of two cakes that I found on google, and added a little design, and she made the cake EXACTLY as I requested and delivered to the bday location right on time. The cake was for my boss’ wife’s surprise bday party, so I was very nervous to hire anyone and clearly wanted to make a good impression. The cake turned out to be incredible and beautiful. I will post pictures as soon as I get them back from the photographer. Thank you thank you Fantasy Frostings for making my boss’ wife’s bday cake absolutely amazing.
