Pretty sure the address changed… I believe the shop is on Valley now… I had somebody recommend Terence, who I believe is the owner. I think as the last reviewer said, he needs to take some customer service lessons, he is not the friendliest a guy. The first time he went, he wouldn’t cut my hair(I didn’t realize it was by appointment only), but the shop was empty and I waited around till after his next appointment, but the appointment he was waiting for was really late, so I just left. But I gave him a second chance recently, made the appointment, and he got upset when I asked him to do something extra… that I didn’t ask him to do over the phone, I thought that was kinda crazy… Anyways he ended up doing it because once again his next appointment was late. The haircut was good, but for $ 22 shape up, he shouldn’t leave any cuts around the head… which he did, his razors are too sharp… Overall: Customer Service: Okay Pricing:Expensive Recommend: Not really

Place rating: 1 New York, NY
Walked in this place and was not even acknowledged. I was left sitting there for a good 30 minutes. As a New Yorker, I took that as a sign and took my business elsewhere down the street to Lucky 7. Fast forward to the summer, my nephew who needed a haircut stated, he walked in to Visions and the owner was already servicing a client. There was no one else in the salon so he sat down to wait. 20 minutes later a Z-list«celebrity»(reoccurring role on Law & Order) walks in for a haircut which brings joy happiness to the owner. Immediately after finishing his first client, my nephew gets up to get in the chair and the owner yells at him and says he is closed and no longer accepting clients as the Z-list«star» takes a seat. My nephew who is not from the country and a CHILD came back home upset. If only I was in town to rip this ignorant, pompous, immature, easily swooned groupie a new a-hole. I did however express my thoughts professionally to his employee over the phone. You do not treat your potential clients like dirt and must remain professional at ALL times. Not only does the owner lack customer service skills but he is prejudice to those who are not Z-list«celebs». So sad since my nephews mother sent him there with a hefty tip, but you wouldn’t know that owner since you kicked him out! Clearly, you need the money of walk-ins or else you would do like high end salons in NYC or all over the world and book celeb or wealthy clients by appointment only and remain closed. From what I hear, your waiting list is nonexistent so please humble yourself or watch a couple episodes of Tabetha’s Takeover. Solution: Stick with Lucky 7! Not only is it cheaper but at least they acknowledge you when you walk in the door. Your barber is quick and gets you out in no time. It may be a little rowdy & sometimes crowded however I rather rowdy & crowded than pretentious a-holes any day. P. S. Cutz New York is not too bad either(Village Plaza)
