We are strictly a Preschool, we have a program to meet the needs of the total child. Our environment is warm and secure, where they can learn about the world around them. The children range in age from 3 – 5 years. A session is 2 ¼ hours long and the children attend 2 or 3 sessions per week

History

Established in 1981.

Three women who taught in the public schools found a need for education before Kdg. We started with one session at our South Milwaukee location. Expanding to morning and afternoon sessions five days/​week. Now, there are a total of four locations, South Milwaukee, Greendale, Franklin and Franksville, Wi.

Business Owner

I am a graduate of Mankato State University in Mankato Minnesota with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Physical Education. I taught in the public schools in Minnesota before moving to Wisconsin. I continued to teach in Wisconsin, but, I could see a need for early childhood education, I enrolled in Early Childhood classes at Mt. Mary University.

So, with two other ladies who also saw a need for early intervention, APL was founded in 1981
