The staff was both professional and pleasant. I came in, told them the issue (in my case the cooling assembly) and they said they would take a look and do some diagnostics to make sure it didn’t need replacement. When it turned out it was indeed a broken fan as I expected, they contacted me to make sure I wanted the full repair before ordering the parts. The entire process was quick and painless and was much cheaper than I expected after doing some research online from similar service from GeekSquad. Never going anywhere else with my computer repair, highly recommend!

I brought my laptop in because I was having some trouble installing certain programs like quicktime and running gopro studio. I left it on a Friday afternoon and was told I could expect a call by Monday since they are only open half a day on Saturday’s. Fair Enough. Monday I had to call them and was told it was not ready. Tuesday I had to call again and was told half an hour. An hour later I was told they would call me. After reading some of the negative reviews on here I started to get pretty worried but around 4pm they called, apologized for the delay and explained there had been some difficulty but they were able to get everything up and running for just the base $ 35 diagnostic fee. When I picked it up everything seemed to be working perfectly. I was able to get the gopro studio to work finally and was very satisfied with their work. Friendly staff and they got the job done for cheap. I would definitely go back.

Would not use them again. I took my iPad Air2 to repair the screen. They had told me it would take 2 – 3 days. They waited 24 hours to tell me they couldn’t repair it, sorry. I told them when I called and when I dropped it off that it was an iPad Air 2. They’re technician wasn’t knowledgeable enough to know there’s a difference to the iPad Air 1. Very aggravating.

These guys were awesome! After several tech guys could not figure out the problem these people were able to get the job done. One tech guy was going to charge me $ 175! This was taken care of with a diagnostic for $ 35! So happy!

These folks are great! I removed 1-​star because the last time, Siri didn’t work after my iPhone screen replacement and that was after the previous replacement screen had proven to be a defective. That said, they readily got things corrected and back in order and they did so quickly and with a smile. The people working here are professional, efficient, extremely pleasant and they stand by their work. I have taken numerous items to them and have always been pleased across the board. When weird things happen such as the defective screen situation, it’s awesome to have issues met with such impeccable customer service. I have recommended TechBar to many and will continue to use them for all of my tech needs.

Better service and knowledge than the apple store itself. TOP NOTCH! Had a 2015 MBP with battery problems… took it to the Apple store and they told me that they could not replace the battery (motherboard problems) and to just get a new laptop. they were giving me 100 dollars credit for my MBP. Then I found out about Techbar and they not only did a battery swap but they also fixed the motherboard issue (took a few days but hey, its a motherboard) for half the cost of JUST changing the battery at the Apple store. Need I say more?

Going through a divorce and think your computer is being monitored? I thought so, took my computer to Tech Bar and they did a scan and found key logger software that had been placed on there by my husband. They gave me reasonably priced options to fix the situation and made me feel at ease after this privacy invasion. They are quick and professional and offer many levels of service including house calls and telephone support. Can’t say enough about how good they are! I hope I don’t need to go back to them, but if so, I know they will take good care of my computer and me.

Honestly Honestly Honestly!!! this is the SECOND damn time I came here within 2YEARs & AGAIN an absolutely horrible Experience. MAN come On wtf is up with this spot? I dropped my computer off with Myia the female Asian employee, VERY polite. My computer wasn’t turning on. To my surprise when I opened it infront of her it came on. It said something about the harddrive not working properly. I was happy it was on, Myia told me to leave it for the FREE diagnostics just to see what was going on & if they could make it better. I left the laptop & went home. 4 days later they called and told me it would be $ 249 to fix the hard-​rive (not to cheap huh?). I agreed and told them okay. Literally 10mins later they called me back (Chip was the employee working on my laptop.) Chip explained to me the laptop has corrosion & that they couldn’t fix it & it would be better off if I buy a new laptop. He gave me no other alternatives. I made arrangements to come pick the laptop up. That night I go online & purchase a new laptop. The next day I get there to pick up the laptop & the young African American guy tells me it’s a $ 35 charge for looking at my laptop –_​_​_​-​. «Bye Felica» they didn’t do anything to the laptop & it’s been 6days. Smh I heard free diagnostics when I dropped it off. I leave & go to the Miami Computer Repair genie. Free Diagnostic, $ 150 for fixing hard-​drive, & $ 30 to remove corrosion. So because of TechBar (they honestly should eliminate «bar» from the companies name because they have to be under the influence to provide such unexceptional service) I bought a new damn laptop, hopefully I can return it. Also I wouldn’t be surprised if this place goes out of business in the near future.

Took my phone here with a shattered screen and received very helpful and efficient service – my screen was replaced and I was out the door in less than 15 minutes.

I brought a laptop in to be rest to factory default after a failed Windows 10 Upgrade attempt bricked my laptop
I left it there on a Friday and didn’t get a response from them despite being told they’re open weekends so I called back on the following Tuesday to learn they were waiting for me to approve the cost of fixing the computer.
I never received a call or message despite being told I would, so they never let me know my computer was just sitting there not being fixed.
Finally it’s now the following Tuesday and having not heard back I called again to find out the computer has been fixed already and they wanted to know if I wanted them to upgrade me to Windows 10 but that it would take longer to get the laptop back!
At this point I told them no I just wanted to be done with their business. -$ 150 and a lot of time

I was very nervous about replacing the cracked screen on my new iPhone 6. I have used other vendors who have used sub-​par material to replace screens on my old phones.
My phone fell onto concrete and the screen shattered into pieces. I needed a quick fix, so I reluctantly dropped off the phone and within 15 minutes, my phone was returned in excellent condition — like I had just opened it from the box! I was so happy and relieved.

These guys are great! I bought a Airport Express and tried to install it, still using my time capsule as part of my network. Needless to say, didn’t work. I called my friend Ivan, who owns the business, and he told me to talk to Jvarey. That guy rocks! Came over to my house and in less than 40 minutes had it all working. my Airport Express, my 3^rd generation time capsule /​router and my airport base station.
They are really good, and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend them!

Totally awesome professionals & service. Had my Mac computer fixed within a few days. I thought the prices were quite reasonable — $ 35 diagnostic fee (which is included into your bill if you fix your device with them) and $ 250 for a new hard drive, software, etc. Beats buying a brand new computer! Highly recommend.

No «annual plans» or anything else but fast, competent personalized device service. My aging PC had a mysteriously overpopulated C drive that I was not knowledgeable enough to resolve but Preemo was! A «genius bar» for everybody. I will use Preemo again and recommend them.

My wife took her iPhone to get a quote to repair it. It had a small crack in the corner by the speaker and the speaker was not working.
The tech tried to troubleshoot the speaker and ended up cracking the screen right down the middle (lengthwise).
The tech failed to mention that this was a possibility. Due to their oversight the phone was rendered practically unusable.
She spoke with the owner who (since it had some small existing cracks in the corner) failed to take responsibility for his staffs actions. He stated «it’s only a hairline crack down the middle, it’s not like you will cut yourself or anything on it». His solution was to repair the screen for a small discount (which still resulted in a higher price than his competitors).
Due to their oversight my wife’s phone was rendered practically unusable.
Bad tech support, bad customer service, bad experience

My iPhone screen was cracked to the point that I couldn’t see anything. My phone was functional but the screen was very cracked. I went to Preemo and they fixed it same day. Awesome service! Highly recommended.

The bad news is that I seem to be a huge clutz when it comes to my phone as I have managed to shatter the front screen once and the back screen twice in a one month period.
