South Florida Institute for Reproductive Medicine aka IVFMD!
I could write an entire book of how I have been mistreated, however, I would like for you to actually read my short review and be saved from my bad experience… Here is a short list of my horrible care at South Florida Institute for Reproductive Medicine aka IVFMD!
We have gone to the practice for 5+ years
Spent over $ 150,000. with NO results!
IVF/​Egg retrivals 5+ times W/​some PGD testing
NO baby… They make money off your miscarriages because they charge you for the IVF cycles, storage, transfers, and DNC’s. They make sure that you get pregnant to get you addicted to the idea of having a baby that you will pay anything for!
The practice only has a 20% success rate according to SART data for our age group!
The physician did not even review our chart… This has happened several times and even though we were patients for years they had no recolection of our history and could not find it in the computer… Even scarier… Had no idea where our embryos were… Then mixed up cycyles when reading us the chart… (I corrected them several times on the facts of my case).
I dreaded phone calls with super rude staff much of the time, they give you the run around, have no answers when you confront them, make appointments they do not keep or say your not scheduled, they are late, waste your time with long office visits, have a dirty and dingy office (I have no idea how it is passed by OSHA).
Thank God we went somewhere esle and were successful!
Did I say they lost our records? Medical records LOST so many times I’ve lost count… I have signed the same forms over and over and over and over they always loose their own forms and my insurance info which they did not need because I was self pay!
Save yourself from this horrible practice… Just do your research and find a staff that is actually nice and successful… When I call my new office in Beverly Hills I am always greeted warmly and they always know our case… They have never lost any of our records or embryo information. They always keep your embryos at the physicians office and do not transfer them to another lab.
Going through infertility is so difficult and hard and you deserve to know the facts before you start. We were never told that we would have a only 20% chance to have a child in their practice. They should share their 80% failure rate according to the SART data and in our case (100% failure rate).
We sent our records to six practices who worked with the hardest cases including California, NY, Illnois, Oklahoma, Colorado, ect.
I’m so glad we did not give up and that I followed my gut to go to a practice elsewhere and start over without any records transferred because IVFMD LOST them again!
I would tell my best friend to run from this place, it is scary how badly I let them treat me just because I wanted a baby!
My husband never gets mad and he thinks it is absolutely ridiculous how they practice medicine. He refused to go towards the end because he was over the horrible care. The practice even held me against my will and I had to call an attorney just to leave the building!

First, off the consultation feels like a car dealership negotiation. The doctor, nurses and front desk assistances are never on the same page. If you need to call and speak with someone, you simply can’t. You have to call leave a voicemail and hold your breath for a swift response. They perform unnecessary exams that are costly. The explanation of procedures are terrible. Leaving no choice but to google all the medical jargon that was just babbled to me. We had an appt for 10:30am for insemination and they said it would take 2 hours to prep the room! TWO HOURS!!! This is a very sacred and beautiful experience in any persons life and this staff will quickly and effortlessly taint that for you. All in all, these people are unprofessional, rude, unorganized and have poor communication skills. Read the reviews before making such commitments.

This was the world’s worst experience ever! I do not recommend them to anyone!
They are dealing with such a delicate time in their patient’s lives and they don’t care. No one there seems to care about the patient’s experience or health. I went the first time many years ago and had a decent experience but this place has gone downhill quickly. To the point I’m thinking of testing my son DNA to ensure that the sperm I gave them was handled properly. I provided this office with my insurance information 3 times and still received a bill 3 months later with a past due amount. They were also so unprofessional as to throw away my blood sample without my authorization because they didn’t get my payment at the end of the visit. Are things so bad they cannot process a $ 15 blood test and bill me for it later or run it through the insurance I had provided them 3, actually 4 times if you count the copy I gave them while making my appointment, oh make that 5 as my husband also gave him his insurance information. I took this issue up with their management to only get more frustrated. I suggest taking the reviews to heart and going elsewhere. These people are horrible!!!
