My two friends and I visited LumiGarnet and were very pleased! Louie and Jessica were wonderful! Very cordial and friendly. I got a french mani-​pedi with Jessica and it looked great. Louie worked with my other friend and did a fantastic job. The only reason I’m rating 4 stars instead of 5 is because the third person who worked with us was rather rude and unfriendly — but overall, we were pleased and I highly recommend Jessica and Louie!

I hardly ever get my nails done and wanted a full acrylic set. Me and my friend came as walk ins and were taken right away! I’m in love with my nails, they’re simple yet super cute! Disa can probably give you any design you ask for, she really knows what she is doing.

My first experience was amazing! I walked in and was assisted right away by Disa. She showed me the new colors in for Fall and helped me select the right one. She shaped my nails perfectly! Jessica did a marvelous job on my feet which needed much TLC. My mani and pedi are spectacular! I finally found my nail salon!

Went for for a full acrylic set and Disa did an amazing job !!! I didn’t have to wait at all she fit me right in! this will definitely be my go to nail spot for now on !! The place itself is very modern and clean! They also offer lot of different services since Disa is a FULL SPECIALIST !!
I could say I am very pleased with my nails, I can’t Stop looking at them.
She did them very natural looking which is what I look for when I get my acrylics done!

I can’t review their service because they had NONE. I made 3 appointments at the same time on a Wednesday for the following Saturday. I insisted that they had to be done at the same time because this was a special occasion. The person I talked to said «twice» that it wouldn’t be a problem. We arrived a few minutes before the appointment to find just ONE employee working, doing nails and acting as receptionist. With a very nasty attitude she told us that we could not have our manicures because only she was working that day and that the person that made the appointment on the telephone was supposed to have called me to let me know. «Nothing I can do now» were her words. Not a place I would EVER give my business to and definitely not a place I would EVER recommend. No customer service whatsoever. Fortunately there are plenty of nail spas in the area.

They were able to fit me in last minute and were very attentive. All tools are individually packaged and clean. The pedi rooms are lovely and private. Relaxing massage chairs. Got the Lumi pedi. Handmade scrubs and oil blends on site right before your pedi. Brown sugar rosemary scrub was heaven. Very attentive and friendly experience. Disa is awesome! Sweet and Knowledgable. I will be back!

My first time here and my first time getting a gel mani. Decided to go out of my shell as picked a bright color with nail design. Even though Tee, not sure on the spelling, had no clue how to do it, she was very nice and sweet. She talked just enough. Someone else had to do my nail design, but it’s ok. I still liked her.

Awesome place! Everything was so clean and the girl who did my nails, Disa, was amazing. Definitely going back.

I absolutely love Isis Wellness Nail bar… especially my girl, Disa, who is a Full Specialist that KNOWS HER CRAFT!!! Because of her extensive knowledge & expertise on various services and what colors look good on any complexion, I spend so much time there with her. A knowledgeable Specialist is hard to find, and Disa is a priceless one!!! I’m 100% satisfied & wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else!!!

Don’t be fooled by the cheap prices, because the service is not worth it, there are hidden additional charges for no reason. The facilities and some of the manicurists are fine, BUT one lady in particular completely ruined my experience at this nail salon.
The woman who did my nails was incredibly DISRESPECTFUL. She made inappropriate remarks about wanting my necklace, called my friend «whore» without any apparent reason. In addition, she called me «a weird girl» for not answering her when she raised her voice at me while referring to me as ´Spain´ instead of by name.
She even implied that I had to get my eyebrows done which was extremely out of order.
Instead of asking me to move my hands or feet, she literally slapped my hand to move it and in general, she treated me like shit instead of a client.
In conclusion, the service was deplorable, the experience was disgusting and I left the salon with a sour experience. If you end up going there which I highly suggest you do not. Stay away from the oriental Miami local, less than attractive, pudgy, rude –1 out of 10 on the attractive scale both inside and out spawn of satin.

I used to visit this nail bar often with my coworkers and I always recommend this place to friends. But today when I came in with my sister and friend for our 8 pm appointment, which I made ahead of time, everyone got their nails done except me. By 10:00 a regular of the owner comes in and he does her nails even though I told him I was waiting since 8. The owner didnt care nor acknowledge me. Im 6 months pregnant and I was starving and waiting for my turn for over two hours. Once my sister was done and we were leaving, because I didnt want to do my nails after putting a regular before my appointment, the owner didnt even look at me or apologize. He simply continue doing his regular and was inconsiderate. They lost me and my friends as customers. And i will spread the word of their complete disrespect.

I cannot rave enough about this place. Best prices and quality work. I love their pedicure chairs and that they offer you a beverage. The décor is very modern and the salon is really clean. I can’t see myself going anywhere else now that I’ve been here! So glad that I tried this place on a whim.

Dwey and Alisia are awesome! They’re located right by work so really convenient.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience here. The best massage chairs, and the most detailed mani/​pedi I have ever received. The whole service was about 2 hours and very thorough. The prices are extremely affordable. I will definitely be coming back! My only regret is that I didn’t get my technician’s name, I think it was Alli but I’m not sure. She was great!

The massage chairs definitely put me in relaxation mode right away! I was impressed by the attention to detail by my nail tech, Emily. The only thing that I wasn’t so happy about was the fact that my gel manicure didn’t have a matching non-​gel polish for my pedicure. We had to try and find the best match that we could, and after all it wasn’t the best match at all.
Overall a good experience… I do recommend you try this place out :)

Enjoy environment – new, clean. Big problem: when I discussed manicure type – file and polish only with one employee, the employee who did it began to rip at my cuticles. I told her no cuticles but she did not understand.
Please no cuticle work when we ask for no cuticles!!!

I am giving two stars not because of my nail technician but the receptionist. I arrived at 6:20PM for my 6:30PM appointment and the receptionist had no clue who she scheduled me with. My appointment was with Daimarys (who was great) Once I was able to get anyone that could assist me (because Daimarys was not available) i was helped by Sabrina (she was wonderful).
As I was having the most relaxing pedicure (sipping some wine). We get interrupted by the receptionist who completely interrupts my relaxing time only to tell Sabrina that her next appointment was here… WTF! I am with Sabrina and she is giving me a pedicure. Who is going to do my manicure? Well I ended up with Daimarys after she took care of her 7PM appointment… I had to wait 45 minutes to get my manicure done when I had a scheduled appointment.
This girl has to go! She messed up everyones appointments. This place is amazing but you cannot relax if you are constantly being interrupted by such nonsense.
This girl also gave me attitude as I was waiting for my receipt. She never mentioend that the receipt could be emailed to me or I could wait for a hard copy. Simply rude… I am sorry but if I am paying $ 45 for a manicure/​pedicure I expect good service.

ISIS Wellness Nailbar is a bright and shiny new nail salon in South Miami.
3 stars for the quality of the gel manicure. 4 stars for the service. 5 stars for cleanliness.
QUALITY *** My most important tip for you ladies interested in a gel manicure is to make sure that your mani tech adequately SHAKES the GelColor OPI in the black bottle or other brand of color coat. This was my 4^th gel manicure, but first time using OPI so I didn’t know that the super light color of «Cozu-​melted» was not supposed to be that translucent. It was nice gel manicure but didn’t show the true, beautiful color OPI intended.
Also, my manicure lasted 3 days before the polish on my thumbs were pretty much destroyed. The coats of paint started peeling/​lifting off the sides of several other nails. I ended up having to call a whole bunch of nail salons in AZ frantically to see if they could redo my thumbs with the same OPI color before family photographs were taken. I had the AZ salon put only one coat of color on my thumbs since it looked so much darker than my ISIS manicure. The AZ tech was like, «Oooooh you better tell the Florida salon to shake the bottles better.»
In the future, I would probably request that my base coat stays under the UV light a little bit longer than the tech says. I was confused by the two different UV lights I put my hands under. One light was built into the bar, which is pretty cool and streamlined. But the curing times were so short. There was another, portable UV light plugged in and was set on top of the bar. I’m still not sure what the difference is even after the tech tried to explain it to me.
My ISIS nail tech who drove down to Miami from Orlando for their special grand opening week did a great job shaping my nails. I was pretty happy with her paint technique as well. I find that all techs never paint close enough to the nail bed for my taste with gel manicures but she did really good job getting close to the sides of my nails.
SERVICE **** Although I sat around waiting longer than I’d like, they were swamped during their grand opening week. They gave me a small water bottle which kept me pacified for a while.
The nail techs and employees actually smile and either enjoy or fake enjoy their jobs. I saw some really beautiful and interesting manicures going on next to me. Another customer had red nails with a checkerboard overlay which looked really fun. On top of that she had her ring finger (nails) painted a gold color from OPI which looked amazing.
I haven’t indulged in a pedicure yet, but it was cool how they have little stations/​chairs curtained off from the rest of the salon for pedicures.
Unfortunately, the receptionist at the end thought that I had the $ 35 gel manicure vs the $ 15 grand opening special gel manicure. I had to explain to her that I didn’t get a massage and such, only lotion at the end.
CLEANLINESS ***** They proudly display their autoclave machine in the salon and the tech took out my instruments from a sealed plastic thing like the suture kits you see at a hospital.
The salon appears somewhat small and is Apple store-​esque with the bright lights and white furnishings.
I’ll have to visit some of the many nearby salons to make some comparisons for a future review comparison/​update.
SHAKE THE GEL COLOR COAT BOTTLE ADEQUATELY. CURE THE FIRST/​BASE COAT A LITTLE LONGER. $ 15 +tip wasn’t bad for a gel manicure, but it was a bit problematic. Paint peeled off my thumbs quick. Have their paper menu with prices on hand and circle with a pen which services you want to have done. Make sure you show it to the receptionist and the nail tech, and show it again when you’re paying at the end.
