Express Yourself-​Speech Language Therapy offers skilled speech and language therapy services to children at our office or at your child’s school. Its mission is to provide children with speech or language disorders the necessary framework and skills to produce functional speech and language.

Services offered include: screenings, evaluations, individual therapy sessions, sensory based art classes, and certified music therapy.

A variety of therapy techniques are used to provide effective and enjoyable therapy. Individual sessions provide intensive therapy to promote maximum progress. Motivating games, manipulatives, and computer programs make sessions appealing to all ages.

Social pragmatic group sessions provide children the opportunity to practice appropriate behaviors, which help them achieve confidence during everyday social interactions.

Call if you observe any of the following in your child: Frustration when communicating, unintelligible speech, inability to follow directions, improper grammatical structures, chronic hoarseness, repetition of sounds or words, drooling, limited vocabulary skills, difficulty answering questions, sudden change in the ability to communicate, difficulty with swallowing and/​or eating, or poor socialization.

History

Established in 2009.

Ana Mari Rivero Weiss (president of Express Yourself Speech Language Therapy) is a licensed and registered Speech Language Pathologist in Florida. She has achieved a Master of Science in both Speech Language Pathology and Exceptional Student Education (ESE) and is a member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association, where she attained her Certificate of Clinical Competencies (CCC).

Ana Mari is passionate about working with children and has devoted her life to helping children with communication difficulties. She bases her principles on meeting every child’s unique and individual needs by incorporating a variety of therapy techniques that provide effective and enjoyable therapy sessions. In 2009 she opened Express Yourself Speech Language Therapy with a mission to provide children with speech or language disorders the the necessary framework and skills to produce functional speech and language.

Business Owner

Ana Mari is a licensed Speech Language Pathologist. She is a member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association. She is the president of Express Yourself-​Speech Language Therapy and has achieved a Master of Science in both Speech Language Pathology and ESE.

She bases her principles on meeting every child’s unique and individual needs by incorporating a variety of therapy techniques that provide effective and enjoyable therapy sessions. Individual sessions provide intensive therapy to promote maximum progress. She has extensive experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, auditory processing disorders, feeding disorders, articulation and fluency disorders, as well as children with social and pragmatic delays.

Ana Mari is proud to have focused her career as a speech and language pathologist in helping children with special needs by using both traditional methods and cutting edge therapy techniques to provide highly effective outcomes.
