This café has zero competition in the area, so maybe that’s why they don’t try to make it a friendly and professional environment. The owners act like you’re stopping by their house unannounced. The patrons are obviously friends of management that feel free to yell across the space to talk to each other, and invite the owner to go outside and smoke on the patio together, while the restaurant stays unmanned. In the winter the café is freezing. But the food is decent. Frankly, the only reason we go there is because it’s the only local sandwich shop in the area. I’m amazed they’re still in business.
