The location for the store is great and the prices are ok. While it’s small the seating turns over quickly and kept clean. The sandwich was ok not great but just ok. The soup was very good. One thing that really bothered me was despite my best effort I could not find a menu with prices and the store did not offer cups of water which is a very basic need. They have a bathroom but it’s cold and you have to talk outside to get to it.

I was pleasantly surprised by the sandwiches here. I didn’t expect them to make a bahn mi as flavorful as they did. It was a little spicy, the chicken was good, the veggies and bread were on point, it was a great little sandwich! And I say little because I would have enjoyed eating more of it, it wasn’t the biggest. The sandwich may not have been big, but price was, though its about what you’d expect there so I’m not going to complain about it. My girlfriend got a cheese steak and that was pretty big, pretty good too.

They actually don’t deliver. I know it says ‘We Deliver’ on their very large sign and website but they ‘haven’t for a year– since we’ve opened’ according to the employee that finally took my call. It was my forth call. The first three times someone picked up the phone and just put it down while they continued to serve other guests. I tried to get creative– they do takeout orders and I offered to have a cab come pick up my order, since I live hours away and was trying to send food to a friend who was sick, but they just informed me that ‘it was a very busy time, and they would tell the owner again to remove the delivery sign’. Not only do they not deliver but as I saw in another review there is a condescending tone that seems out of line with a customer-focused culture.

Good little marketplace at the base of the mountain with a range of food stuffs and goods, including toiletries. The deli area has decent coffee and espresso drinks, as well as a variety of soups and made-to-order sandwiches. A bit pricier than outside of the resort, but that’s to be expected.

The Market is very convenient and they seem to carry all of your last minute or forgotten ingredients, readymade meals for the family in the freezer, and ingredients to whip up a simple fresh meal. Beer and wine. No it’s not cheap, but it’s the only place on the mountain and they likely have what you need. The deli is great. Great fresh prepared sandwiches, great breakfast offerings, salads, etc. Good coffee. A very reasonable alternative for lunch or breakfast considering the alternatives. As a repeat customer have always found the folks very friendly and helpful, particularly in the deli.

This place is great. Groceries, wine/liquor, breakfast, lunch and coffee. We had brunch sandwiches around 11:30. They nailed the bahn-mi. Boyfriend had the summer camp which is a classical club sandwich. Super fresh ingredients on both and turned them around real quickly. Perfectly simple and delicious meal. They also opened up for us last night to buy beer as the only place in town. Very kind of the owner to do! Highly recommended all around.

They stop serving breakfast at 11am– ok I guess that’s their policy. I think they’re missing out with late breakfast or brunch goers on a Sunday. It doesn’t help that they’re rude. I asked if I could have an egg added to my sandwich and they seemed upset I asked. No– of course. Their condescending talk when I didn’t understand I couldn’t customize a sandwich on their menu. I guess it’s their way or the highway. I’ll avoid this next time I’m out here.

The best lodge food I’ve ever had! The phở noodle soup is surprisingly tasty(albeit a bit on the sweet side … Note to chef: more salt, less sugar!). The chicken tenders are actually tender and the fries sell out fast around lunchtime! Would I come to this place just for lunch? Ha ha no. But, it’s leaps and bounds above its lodge competitors far and wide!

Good sandwiches. You may have to ask more questions and be specific, as the help the day I was there wasn’t too friendly or helpful. However, the food and atmosphere is good. Easy to take a sandwich home after a full day on the slopes.

This my go-to breakfast place when skiing. I can enjoy excellent coffee and my kids usually order a breakfast sandwich, muffin or this awesome looking cinnamon sugar donut. ESPN on the flat screen is an added bonus.

This place is incredible! We ate amazing sandwiches and delicious homemade soups at their deli. Everything was fresh, using local ingredients and local organic farms. Bret was on staff and he could not have been nicer. The whole family loved the coffee, cappuccino and hot chocolate(Ghiradelli) bar. We ventured over to the market as well. This place is unbelievable. I couldn’t get over the selections! TONS of Gluten free options. Take away dinners! The best beer, wine and cheese selection! I won’t have to weigh down the car on the way up with groceries any more. So happy!

They received an extra star for carrying almond milk! Cute little café/deli that serves food, desserts, snacks, and caffeinated beverages. I walked a few steps away from the Stratton Resort in search of seating and a warm beverage. No seating here on a Saturday, but they made me a great chai latte with ALMONDMILK. This is the first coffee place that I’ve been to that used almond milk instead of soy! Sweet! Prices aren’t too bad. The baristas were quick and friendly. I wish that they had more seating available, but maybe it’s not as crowded at certain times of the day. Stratton’s «Village» isn’t anything spectacular, but it’s cute and quaint and is a great place if you’re visiting Vermont for the first time.

Very disappointed by the rude staff. Would not recommend. While visiting Stratton with friends over a recent weekend, I had some urgent work that popped up and I figured the coffee shop, which is connected to the market, would be a good option. My experience was a negative one for the following reasons: 1) The café doesn’t have any prices for the food. When I noticed there were no prices on the menu board, I asked for a menu that had prices and I was informed that no such thing exists. I get it– your customers are not typically price sensitive. Still, I don’t think that buying a burrito should be as opaque as buying a mattress. Frustrated, I just ordered a coffee. 2) More importantly, the service was terrible. Before sitting down, I asked if there was wifi and the staff told me yes. I soon realized, however, the public wifi wasn’t working and therefore, I asked if I could please use the store’s network. That request was denied. I then asked if someone could please reset the router, to which the employee responded«I could, but it’s a pain.» Request was denied. Frustrated, I asked where else in the village I could find wifi and instead of a helpful answer, the individual working there told me she doesn’t know because public wifi isn’t safe. Request denied again. Overall, I just don’t get how people could be so inconsiderate to customers. I’ve worked in many service roles before(including waiting tables) and the job is tough– I get it. However, that doesn’t give staff a license to be rude to a customer who’s politely asking for help.

Nice coffee bar which serves some lite food(sandwiches). They also act as a little market providing a limited selection of goods for preparing meals indoors. A perfect choice to stop for a lite breakfast before hitting the trails of and after trail stop to enjoy a espresso beverage and review your day on the mountain.

Such a wonderful much needed addition to Stratton Mountain Village! Fabulous soup, panini’s, & fresh food ! If you left something home-they have it! Comfortable seating & delicious coffee too! If you are visiting Stratton you must stop in. The décor is very rustic & comfortable
