I reached out to the staff at Acorn Tree Services after a large tree in my back yard fell over into a public area of my housing addition.
Chris Steele responded quickly to my call, assessed the situation, and quoted me a great fee to have everything fixed.
Scheduling was easy, and within a couple days his team had removed all remnants of the tree. I’d highly recommend them to anyone.

Chris Steele and his team were efficient, thorough and courteous. Their clean up after the fact was great. We needed a large tree removed and received quote on «deadwooding» other trees on lot and raising the canopy, as well as getting limbs away from house. His price was very competitive. Only knocks, but not worth removing a star, is there were a couple of communication gaps. He did not clarify up front that his estimate was a cash/​check price and that paying with CC would have been more. He said he would speak with neighbor before cutting on their tree. They weren’t available, but he failed to let us know his attempt to speak with them was unsuccessful.
Definitely recommend his serves.

Competitive pricing. The crew arrived a couple of hours than originally planned which the proprietor communicated with us earlier during the day. A pear tree and a large elm tree were removed in approximately 3.5 hours with a crew of 3. Wood chipper brought on-​site. Cleanup was efficient. They even picked up debris from the pool.

I had a mature crêpe myrtle tree removed from the backyard of my townhouse. Chris and his crew were fantastic! They had to take down a portion of fence and work in a very tight area, so it really was a bit complicated, but that did not seem to be a problem for them. They took very special care of everything in my patio area and theirs clean up was great. They were professional, worked quickly and did a fantastic job. I would use them again in a heartbeat. Also the price was quite reasonable which was a great plus.

Competitive pricing and prompt service. They removed a large oak tree that was over our house, pool, and power lines. Worked with us to get some cuts of the tree to make some furniture out of. Only reason they didn’t get 5 stars was because the grinder cut the power for some outdoor lighting.

Was very satisfied with their service. he quoted me a price and I had found someone that would do it a couple hundred dollars cheaper. about a week later he called me back and ask if it has been cut down yet. i said no the guy was real busy right now and it wouldn’t be for another couple weeks before he could get to it. well he told me he would match their price and a couple days later he had my dead cottonwood tree cut down. along with a limb coming across from my neighbors yard above my power line. also did a great job on clean up. the only thing left is for them to come back and grind a couple of stumps down. They couldn’t really do it at the time due to all this freaking rain. all I can say is good job and I would recommend them.

They were prompt, very professional, thoroughly cleaned up all of the trimmings, & did a great job! I was initially a bit worried that they would trim too much since it took quite awhile for our large tree in the front to become really full. But I shouldn’t have worried. It looks great! Chris was knowledgeable, friendly, & responsive. I would definitely recommend this company!

Owner Chris Steele has done an excellent job for me on tree service two separate times. First, he grinded down some stumps in my front yard. Recently he removed a large tree in my back yard and grinded the stump way down.
He has always been on time, charges a fair price, and does the work himself along with a helper. Would highly recommend him to anyone needing tree service.
