This is the BEST place to rent a tuxedo in Tahoe! The customer service was outstanding! I worked with a sweet woman named Monica and she helped me pick out the most perfect dress and tuxedo for my boyfriend. She did the most perfect alterations to my dress. I love everything about this store! I only wish all stores treated me this well!

From the time the groom and 3 groomsmen were fitted, and the other 2 guys from Boston and Atlanta (who sent in their measurements), were delivered, all 5 of these beautiful tuxedo’s were a perfect fit.
No alterations were needed on any of them!

We planned our wedding for Lake Tahoe from Kansas! We made a trip there to meet with Joanna to pick out tuxedos. She was very friendly and helpful!
Joanna made follow up phone calls and emails to make sure everything was ready to go. She even noticed that one of the measurements for a grooms men’s tux didn’t make sense. We double checked and she was right, the measurement wasn’t right. Great catch!
The morning before the wedding the guys went to pick up their tuxes and one of the pants were way too big. Joanna jumped right on it and within 20 minutes they had the right size, including the hem.
I recommend them for any tuxedos you may need!

STAY FAR FAR AWAY unless you want your carefully planned wedding to be ruined by them without even a shred of an apology. Not only did they eff up my wedding tuxedo order, but they they posted a dishonest account of what happened in reply to my Unilocal review. Their 2.5 star rating and the lies they said in their response is testament to their horrible business ethics.
After I posted my original Unilocal review (under SideStreet Boutique), they posted an untruthful response on Unilocal stating that we picked up the tux, looked at it, paid for it, wore it and then asked for our money back – First off, our event was several years ago and I challenge them to produce any records on the order to substantiate their account of the mistake. I KNOW they don’t have a clue about this because of their totally inaccurate account of what happened.
Secondly their claim that we wore and then requested a refund is a complete FABRICATION – um, our grooms tux was free –so what refund are they talking about? Thirdly, each groomsman pre-​paid and then picked up their own tuxes based on the measurements they’d sent to Sidestreet. Groomsmen came from all parts of the country for the event, how would they know how to verify the style when they picked up the tuxes? WE chose the style I trusted this place to get my order right and they FAILED miserably.
This whole experience was with my wedding planning for my South Lake event. Since I lived in they bay area at the time, we took a special trip to Tahoe to sit down with them to pick out the tuxedo ensemble for our groomsmen. We meticulously selected the jacket style, shirt style, colors etc.
Fast forward to my wedding day. I arrive at Edgewood minutes before my wedding and the first person I see is my brother, decked out in the WRONG getup. I asked him why he was wearing that and he said that’s what the place gave to for all the guys. It looked ridiculous! There was nothing we could do… it was show time.
I was devastated; each time I look at my wedding photos I think of what a train wreck this place made of a simple tuxedo order. SHAMEFUL!
