Our low beam headlight burned out on our way to Tahoe in the rain. The next day we went to O’Reilly Auto Parts and they sold us a new headlight for a very reasonable price and installed it for us in the rain!

After a HORRIBLE experience at Autozone we found ourselves here! We are out of town and just wanted to get chains just in case! Eric and Gabe were very helpful and assertive to our needs. Thank you for answering our questions and providing us with instructions! Hopefully we won’t need the chains but feel safer now!

My battery was on its way out. I had to have a jump start that morning but I drove across town and back so I thought I could turn off my engine at O’Reillys to buy a new battery and have my husband install it at home. Well my battery was more dead than I thought and my car wouldn’t start in the parking lot after I bought the battery but a nice man installed my new battery for me and wouldn’t accept a tip that I offered. Overall, the service was really good and the people were nice and helpful. My new battery came with a 3 year warranty. I would highly recommend them.

First time driving in snow was scary. We stopped at oreily’s for snow chains. Christina assisted in our purchase and even showed us how to put them on correctly. She was awesome! If you ever need help with snow chains. Be sure to ask for Christina.

Driving through Tahoe and the alternator goes out. Mike (not little Mike) of Oreilly auto parts sent us to Mike and Jason at Anything Gas. They took care of us, gave us a Klondike bar and got us out for about $ 250.

Best auto parts store in town, way better than napa. Staff is friendly, not always super knowledgable but eager to help. Lines are usually a little longer than tegu should be, usually see multiple people walking around aimlessly. All on all not a bad store.

Great experience here! We were on a family ski trip to South Lake Tahoe and we were having problems with our car battery. A very kind man named Chris helped us out! I would definitely recommend this place. Kind staff and great service!

This review is relative to auto parts stores, which I have plenty of experience dealing with. So be-​warned, yes you will, have to wait a seemingly interminable wait, as is typical for these kinds of stores.
However, and this is where I give this place credit, when my friend came in to buy chains, when the guy finally got to him, he was super helpful, gave some useful tips, and treated him like he was the only person in the world. The prices are also reasonable, and it’s great to know this place is here during these harsh Tahoe winters.

You can also buy online and have it reserved for you in the store, which I recommend the best. O’Reilly’s website had the cheapest prices.
