Nanda Dozier

We found Nanda through the Redfin site and were very happy that we did. She showed us multiple homes on multiple days and never once got frustrated that we couldnt seem to find the right one. But when we finally did Nanda was extremely helpful and knowledgeable through the entire closing process. We did not live in the area which required Nanda to do most of the local aspects of the buying process. From the termite inspection to home inspection to even just simply measuring a window for us, Nanda was always willing to help out in our absence. We bought our home during the holiday season and even so Nanda remained extremely quick to respond whenever we had questions or concerns. We definitely recommend Nanda!

Nanda was our agent when we first decided to purchase a second home in Tahoe. She was very diligent in finding the perfect second home for us. This property however was a short sale and had two mortgages. She helped us through a very difficult process and contacted us many times while she was on vacation (out of the country even!), We highly recommend Ms. Dozier as she went above and beyond the call of duty for us. I forget how I initially got in touch with Nanda, but however it was, I really lucked out. Over a period of 4 years, I worked with her to purchase a second home in South Lake Tahoe. Being from out of town, I was not completely familiar with the area nor was I able to be present for much of the searching and even the closing. But when the right place came up, it all worked out with Nanda’s help.
Nanda is excellent at her job:
* she’s extremely knowledgeable. All my questions/​concerns were answered, and beyond that, she provided a wealth of information I wouldn’t have even known to even ask about. I was well informed before each decision, big or small.
* she’s very accommodating. Even on short notice she was always available and attentive.
* she’s proactive and organized. She kept the project on task and moving, and followed-​up to fix various issues that I or no one else was around to take care of (a broken light fixture comes to mind).
Plus she’s just a nice person to work with. I cannot imagine a better real estate agent. I will be referring her to anyone who asks, and doing so with this review first.

We really feel very fortunate to have had such an excellent realtor. We bought a piece of property earlier in the year and were beyond impressed with Nanda’s experience. Nanda helped us buy a house in summer 2014. We found her through Redfin and were very pleased with the level of support she offered us from day one. With relatively little notice, she spent many hours with us on a summer Saturday, in which we went from viewing cheap forest service cabins in Tahoe to million dollar homes with lake views because we really had no idea what we wanted. Nanda never even raised an eye brow at our lack of focus. Instead, she supported us through everything, giving frank, useful opinions and not pushing us just towards expensive houses. She did a lot of grunt work, scheduling meetings for houses that required a selling agent present, getting lock box codes, etc. and in two days she helped us view a whopping sixteen properties in Tahoe.
Our purchase process was unusually onerous due to unique features of the property we eventually chose and Nanda was very patient and helpful in guiding us through. She gave us referrals to local insurance agents, rental agents, and worked as our liaison with the sellers, which was more challenging than normal because the sellers were the selling agents and they were very (understandably) emotionally attached to the home they’d been living in for almost 20 years. Nanda maintained a professional, positive attitude through everything. She was also much more proactive and helpful than the prior buying agent we had used for our San Francisco home, so we had a very positive experience in comparison.

Redfin referred me to Nanda, but every time I called, she was short with me and said she was too busy to work with me. I began working with another agent. But when that agent was out of town, a house came up for sale that I new could sell that weekend. Out of desperation, I called Nanda and left a message. Then I found a third agent I had met once before who could show me the house.
First, my out of town agent called and yelled at me for going with another realtor. Then, that afternoon, I had a message from Nanda. She said, she didn’t have time to show me house and anyway, she didn’t want to work with me because she only works with «loyal» customers, and I was working with another agent.
This struck me as SO bizarre (and needlessly cruel), considering that I hadn’t been working with Nanda at all. I did some research and discovered that All THREE agents worked for Pinnacle real estate. So no, I would NOT recommend Nanda as an agent.
