Let me start off by saying that I love finding shops like this place. Especially when they have a ton of selections to choose from & convenient to find. The reason why the 2 stars is because they are an EXTREMELY compact place with high prices & not welcoming of kids. The older lady running the place didn’t greet us, didn’t ask us if we needed help finding anything in particular, & didn’t even conversate with us while checking out. She was rude that the kids were inquisitive of the magnet door. She literally barked at them because they supposedly moved the stopper that kept the door closed. Really? I don’t know the stores ins & outs!!! I should’ve dropped my stuff right then & there with the crazy look she gave us! Have a drink or something!!! Made the whole experience unwelcoming & felt like she wanted us out quick!!! *DONOTBRINGCHILDREN*

I’m a disgrace to my gender because I don’t like to shop. I do it because it’s a necessity and not a pastime. But I found myself in this tourist laden shop because we were on a mission. Albeit not from God. Parking: Free parking to the side of the building and over by the gas station. The venue: Single stand alone store located in the tourist zone in Tahoe. It’s not really the type of place that you intentionally drive to. But is great for tourists who are walking around the area. If you’re looking for souvenirs, this is the place to go. Packed wall to ceiling with every inch well designed to hold any type of trinket imaginable. From t-shirts, hats, magnets, and the like. If you can’t find a Tahoe keepsake here, you weren’t looking. We stopped in here just after visiting Alpaca Advantage( ) on our way back to our hotel. And while I said I’m not a shopper, had I been, there were several cute things. And some of the shirt designs were amusing. I’ve posted a photo of my favorite.

While in Lake Tahoe we wanted to buy some gifts for our family, so we decided to stop in at this store because it looked as though it had a lot of items to choose from. When we walked into the store we were greeted by a very polite employee who didn’t pressure us and let us look at our own pace. The store itself did have a huge selection of unique items ranging in price. In the end we bought a few different items for our family but didn’t buy much because the items were priced a bit high. That being said, the quality of the items here were fairly decent and we thoroughly enjoyed taking the time to walk through and look at their unique goods.

I love, love this tiny place. They packed in so many items that I always want to hit the store twice before I leave Tahoe. You just have to stop in, you won’t be disappointed!

Blink & you’ll miss it… Sandwiched between Alpaca Advantage & Up Shirt Creek. Charming little gift shop with an eclectic mix of goodies… Shopkeep was very helpful/friendly & even interacted with the kiddies(as opposed to nervously requesting they step away from the merchandise). Though small, both the selection & quality of goods far exceeds their much larger counterparts/competitors(very reasonable pricing as well). Definitely worthy a stop, particularly if you’re looking to grab some last minute gifts without breaking the bank… Don’t let its small size deceive you as it’s literally packed(though neatly arranged/organized) with goods from front to back… Shop is directly adjacent to Heavenly Village on Lake Tahoe Blvd…
