Hello my name is Shaun Benny. I am the proud owner of Lake of the Sky Moving. We are highly skilled movers with over 15 years experience in the industry. We move everything from Pianos of all sizes, pool tables, safes and many other items that are to big and awkward for others to lift. We specialize in loading and unloading our customers in a safe and efficient manner. We also provide packing services that are very highly organized and even offer a cleaning package that will make it look as if you were never at your old residence.

Great service & great attitude. We had Shaun and David move us from an apartment in San Francisco to Carson City. Shaun was on top of the reservation and logistics from the get go. We coordinated to reserve the service elevator and they worked double quick to get us all moved within a very short time window. We met up the next day in Carson City and moved all of the furniture into a storage unit. They were highly efficient in packing and treating our furniture well. The guys were a pleasure to work with and good solid people. Highly recommend them for any moving in the future.

The most responsive. Worked around our schedule. Not your ordinary moving company. Twice due to other people’s irresponsibility we had to reschedule at the last moment without any hassle. Sean the owner was so kind and he graciously accepted last minute changes I would recommend them to anyone

Shaun and Junior were excellent! They helped my grandmother move to Tahoe from Fallon; they packed her boxes and furniture from her house (carefully, may I add), drove the truck, unpacked the truck and re-​put together the furniture. They went the extra mile and their prices were extremely reasonable. Would use again if we ever are to move!

This guy is full of it, I had same experience with him. All his employees would say is that he would take their tips and cheat them on hours. He has no HR department nor does he have business licenses to work the areas he does

Shaun and his team were great! They showed up on time and carefully wrapped and packaged up our stuff. They were nice and respectful and fun to talk to as well. The truck was loaded up quickly, and we were off. If I get to move back to Tahoe, I would definitely use them again!

AMAZING — Sean and his crew came highly recommended and they delivered. Everything was carefully wrapped and I was amazed about how efficient they were. They put in a long day for me and worked as hard in the last hour as they did in the first. I would recommend them to anyone and would definitely use them again. Real good guys.

These guys were super nice and tried hard to make moving our piano better. They were a couple hours and said they were too busy to call us and let us know. This was obviously and inconvenience and annoying. They made very effort to right their oversight and paid for our Uhaul to make it better, as well as being super apologetic.

These guys are AMAZING! We were moving across country to Reno and had no idea what we were going to do once we arrived when it came to unloading our truck. I feel SO fortunate to have stumbled upon Lake of the Sky Moving, they really saved the day!
Shawn and Tim were hard working, fast and not to mention the nicest guys ever. So nice, that when I told them I am newly pregnant and unable to lift anything heavy, they even set up a chair for me to sit in while they unloaded the truck. They both had such positive and warm energy. Even after they were done my husband kept saying «man, those guys were awesome.»
It was the most affordable out of every moving company I called and I’m certain, turned out to the best. I hope these guys stick around for a very long time because every move we make from here on out, I know exactly who to call.

These guys are awesome. I’m the owner of Mythic Movers and did a long distance job out to Lake Tahoe and called these guys to help on the unload end. In short, I called them last minute and they where polite, punctual, and hard working. I would recommend them to any of my customers who are moving to the area. Shaun and Tim busted out our move-​in in no time flat. They were friendly, helpful and super-​economical. They even helped us re-​attach our flatbed towing dolly to the truck so we could return them to U-​Haul.
Most of my reviews are cynical but these guys did a great job.

We were very happy we called Lake of the Sky moving services. The fellows who moved us were fast, helpful and knew the best way to load the truck to keep our belongings secure. They also provided ties and brought a heavy duty dolly. Then, they unloaded our truck, put everything in our house where we wanted it, and asked if there was anything else they could do to help us before they left. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants kind, reliable, efficient help for their move.

These guys saved me! I got lucky and called them last minute to help me move my office. I got the last Uhaul and was only able to get a 14 ft truck. They were on-​time, assessed the situation, made a plan and started loading. The furniture came out from an upstairs unit and it was not easy to move. They somehow managed to fit everything into the truck and I was amazed that they did. We moved it all into a newly remodeled and painted office. Not one scratch or broken anything! I highly recommend these guys. They’re well worth it to save your back and energy and just stand back and let them do what they know. Shaun’s attitude was positive and friendly. He obviously is proud of his work and know how to please his customers.

I cannot thank the guys from Lake of the Sky Moving enough. They made my moving experience so easy and smooth. Originally, I was debating between hiring someone to drive load and DRIVE the truck to my new home or just hiring people on both ends to help me unload. I spoke with Shaun and he walked me through all the options and really worked with me to figure out what we be the cheapest and the best option.
The loading process was so fast. He brought tape and tie downs free of charge which was a huge relief because I couldn’t find ours anywhere! He also took the time to wrap everything. Shaun and his colleague were extremely courteous and made sure to pack my things in a way that would protect them. On top of everything they were fun nice guys which made the experience that much better. I would highly recommend them to any person looking for moving services in the Tahoe area.
