Ed Cook Tree Service

I called Ed for an estimate to clean up some of the trees on our property (including one HUGE one). He arrived and was VERY professional (not something that always happens in Tahoe) and personable. He walked the property with us and made his recommendations and answered our questions. We ended up having him clean up the huge tree as well as a hand-​full of other ones. Trees look great and the yard is clean! No mess left behind. Very fair pricing. I highly recommend their services!

I have been a So. Tahoe resident for the past 15 years. You always see the red trucks driving throughout town with Ed Cooks name on it. Well, when we had a rotten tree that needed to be cut down in our front yard needed to go, I knew the person I would call. We called Ed Cook Tree service and the were very polite in the phone, and showed up that very day. They gave the best quote in town, so we went with them. The next day they showed up and were very professional about their job. The tree was down in a safe manor in no time, and they cleaned up everything afterwards, and they even cut the tree in rounds for easier chopping for our fire wood. This is really they best tree service in the Tahoe area. They were very quick and professorial, and the best price in town. I will ALWAYS go back to them and recommend them to any of my friends or family who need tree service.

I used their crane services to crane a hot tub over our 2 story house. The crane operator Tom was awesome & did a great job with complete ease. I would highly recommend him for any crane services!!! Thank you!

These people are responsible, reliable and competent. They show up when they say they will, do the job within budget, are safety conscious and are expert at operating a crane. I needed a hot tub –fairly large — lifted over the house and set onto the back raised deck. No problem. Done promptly, cleanly and with no hassle by Tom Loomis. I’d hire these guys anytime.
One suggestion: The business shows up on your business card as Ed Cook Crane Service but on the internet it shows up as Ed Crane Tree Service. You’re losing business by the incomplete listing.

Fair prices and very professional. Ed came out and first thing he thought of was a way to save us some money. He scheduled us in when a crane was down the street so we got a discount on that. They were on time, Had the treedown and everything cleaned up in an hour. These guys are great! Thanks ED.
