Diamond Woodcraft

Imagine my surprise to come home at 4 pm to find the glass door to our back deck shattered. I still don’t know what caused the glass in the door to break but whatever it was it was a shock, to say the least. It was mid-​October and a storm was in the forecast. I called Diamond door and within an hour Dwane was at my house removing the shattered glass door and measuring for a replacement. The door was custom so there was no easy fix. By 5:30 pm Dwane had fabricated a temporary replacement door that fit perfectly and locked. I had visions of covering the hole with a tarp and I was afraid of going through the night in an unsecure house with a storm coming and two small children. Dwane was so nice and within no time we had a perfectly functioning door. Diamond door worked with a local glass company to make a custom panel for our custom door, saving us hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars. We are so fortunate in Tahoe to have a company like Diamond door that cares about their customers and helping them out in a time of desperation without taking advantage of the situation and charging extra because the customer had no other option. Thank you Dwane and Diamond Door for saving the day!

Same company as Diamond Windows, but a different division.
We worked with Brent, and had a very good experience. He always got back to me in a timely manner, by phone and email.
We got all our doors, windows, baseboards (finish wood), window casings, door knobs (and stops), as well as woodwork for our fireplace mantle from them. I’m sure I’m missing something, but that’s the bulk of it.
They were always a pleasure to work with, and handled well, the one snafus, that came up with a manufacturer (Window manufacturer).
Would use them again for anything they can supply!
