Matthew was incredibly nice and helpful. Probably the nicest guy I have ever met. Helped us get a set of tire chains. Gave us great advice and spent time to teach us how to put them on. Thank you, Matthew.

The friendliest most helpful staff ever! They replaced my trekking poles with no problem and we are back on our way! We also purchased two big man folding chairs since mine is over 15 years old and I have repaired it with dental floss (seeing it) several times and Jay has gone through 4 chairs in a year (yes, annoying cheap chairs), so this time we are getting good ones of the same height! Regular $ 30 a piece, sale is $ 24.99 and we bought the last two. Yeah!!! Used my $ 10.00 off coupon and am very happy!!! On the road again!!!

Average service. This location has the same prices as our local big5 which is nice given that we came knowing we needed snow supplies. We purchase serval items such as gloves and hats. They had a limited supply as I’m sure they have a high demand on snow supplies.

Earlier in the week we stopped by the Big 5 Sporting Goods store along the Y in South Lake Tahoe to grab some fishing gear. They had a sale on their all ready marked prices so that was a definite plus. Staff answered all our questions regarding bait and equipment and luckily everything was in stock. Would definitely be coming back for any outdoor needs next time we’re in town.

I had a great experience purchasing a new pair of running shoes from Big 5. David was so nice an a great help! I told him the problems I was having with my current New Balances and recommended several options for me to try on. He was so patient and wasn’t annoyed with bringing out different sizes and colors for me to chose from. I love the shoes I bought, they are so comfortable. Thanks again David!
