History
Established in 2009.
Studio Eleven opened it’s doors to both music students and music instructors in May, 2009 because there was a growing need among many aspiring musicians in the community, both young and old, to find an additional resource to help fulfil their desire to learn music. It also became apparent that private music instructors needed adequate space and an affordable alternative solution to address their needs.
Today, Studio Eleven’s highly visible status in the community continues to grow as it attracts new students and talented music instructors who share their passion for music.

Whenever the subject of Rhode Island’s best guitar players comes up, Ed Vallee’s name is always among the most widely acclaimed.
Over a span of forty years, his experience in music demonstrates a drive and determination that are necessary elements for today’s aspiring musicians, both young and old. «Since I began teaching in 2003», he says, «I’ve discovered how much I enjoy sharing my experience and knowledge with anyone who wants to learn how to play. I learned my first few guitar chords from my father when I was about 14 or 15 years old.» He goes on to say, «After that, I was pretty much self-taught until I took courses while attending college in music foundations, theory, ear-training, sight-singing, and piano.»
Ed is one of the founding members of Rhode Island’s legendary «Young Adults». He has written more than fifty original songs (three of those are published). He also has two film credits, is a member of ASCAP, and has received two public service awards from the New Engla
