I went here to get a full set, which is $ 25 dollars. When I chose my color, he said it was«too white.» So I chose a different color. Then when I went to go pay, he charged me $ 40 because the new color I chose was a gel polish. I had no idea. Not only that, my nails turned out crooked. Never going back here again, I would not recommend it to anyone.

I have come to this nail salon twice now due to its location. Both visits I was on a limited schedule, which I communicated, and was told the wait was 10 minutes max. Both times I waited 20+ minutes and received less than satisfactory service. The second visit I was put in a chair directly following a previous manicure and I had to ask for the tub to be cleaned. The first visit I also had the artists three children sitting around the artist behaving erratically the entire time. Relaxing? I think not. This visit will be my last.

I always come here for a nice pedicure! Their basic pedicure is $ 20. They give you a really nice massage and the hot towels! I have never had a complaint when I come here. The people here are also very nice and the spa gives you a relaxed vibe.

Price was good and my nails look nice. The lady that did my nails was friendly enough. Here’s where the points are lost though: she was talking to someone on her cell phone almost the entire time she was doing my nails!!! Social phone calls(there were 2) while doing someone’s nails?! All in all, is that enough for me to never go back? Not necessarily since my nails do look good. We will see how long they last and that may determine it. In the meantime I’m going to try elsewhere to see if I can find better customer service to match good work.

My friend and I came in at 6 and the salon closes at 7. Our pedis were rushed because the two nail techs wanted to get out of there by 7 since they still had to clean up. As they rushed through our 15 minute pedis, they skipped the hot towel part at the end because I had«already rolled down my leggings’. I noticed the tools were not autoclaved or cleaned after each customer use as well. After the nail tech was finished painting my toes, he simply got up and went to the next customer without putting my flip flops on or telling me to wait while my nails dried, etc. my friend and I were confused with whether we were done or not. I had to ask the manager if my toes were good to go and she just said yes, but be careful when you put on your flip flops. Nail salons are a dime a dozen nowadays, I’ll continue on my quest to look for a decent nail salon!!!

Tom is a master at the pedi! The salon was so clean and updated. It might be my new fave pedi palace yes I said it palace. I was treated like a queen! My daughter had a cute lady who was smiley and nice. We got the top of the line and it was $ 35 which is average. The massage chairs were nice though I a not a huge fan of any massage chairs. I know weird right?! If you are in the south end stop by its worth the visit.

Mystic Nails is very clean and I am usually very happy with my nails(have been 4 times now). I have always loved getting pedicures here — the massages are long, they use hot towels and wax and my toenails always look great. I have gotten manicures only twice. The first manicure I got here was black acrylic nails, but they were trying to rush to finish me and ended up having a second person working on my other hand. While I would normally be totally okay with this, the problem was that one of them used a different color to go over the nails — so my right hand was black and shiny but my left hand was black and pink tinted. I am a bit OCD so this bothered me horribly. I recently tried to get a manicure here again, this time with shellac, and am much happier with it. Hopefully the one-time bad experience was just that.

I have my favorite nail salon in Sandy, but living in Riverton, I’ve been looking for something closer to home. I have tried a few of the shops around my house, but they have only been disappointing if not infuriating. The other day I thought I’d try Mystic and I LOVEDIT! I thought the price was reasonable, the shop was clean and the service was great. That said, you can’t walk in expecting high class treatment. They do nails and other salon services. They aren’t a 5-star resort or a luxury hotel or a high end spa but they do a good job at a decent price. Best part? The 15 minute massage I got! She just would not stop rubbing my legs and I loved every second of it. The massage is where most places skimp, but not the case here. Such a nice perk. Bottom line: This is probably my new nail place. Close to home, well-priced with good service. Sold.

I first went to this place a few months ago for a pedicure. I found the experience to be pleasant, and my nails looked great. The staff was friendly and the chairs were comfortable. A few days ago, I took my mom there so that we could get shellac manicures. This experience wasn’t as good. There was a game of «musical chairs» as the nail technicians working on both my mother and me moved to other stations to assist other customers, and at one point I was asked to move to a different seat to accommodate a customer that was more than 30 minutes late for her appointment(putting me at the far end of the room from my mom). The technician that trimmed my cuticles did a very quick and painful job, and the next morning my cuticles were covered in little scabs and appeared swollen. While the salon bills its service as shellac, it’s actually gel, which is a little different. It also wasn’t applied correctly, because later in the day my french manicure began to look cloudy, and by day two it was really bad around the base of the nails. I’m hoping my mother’s nails look better than mine; I’m embarrassed to have taken her to this place. All in all, I might consider going back here for a pedicure again, but I would never go back here for another manicure.

The wife and I stopped here a few weeks ago for a pedicure. The staff was friendly, professional, and did a great job with our pedicures. Their massage chairs were comfortable and provided a relaxing massage. I would go here again.
