Carl’s Jr Restaurant

Never had a bad experience here and we’ve frequented multiple times. They were even kind enough to serve us a few minutes before closing (we thought it closed later).

Okay… The food quality is pretty much the same as all of the other locations, but: DO NOT ALTER YOUR ORDER, PICK OFF THE ITEMS YOU DO NOT WANT. Every Time I have asked for my order to be different than protocol, it gets messed up.
Save yourself the trouble, seriously. You’ll be glad you did.

Some of the previous reviews don’t seem to take into account that this is fast food not fine dining. For the category they’re in I think overall they do a good job. You will want to double check your order as sometimes mistakes happen. That being said I have always found them to be very helpful and understanding in trying to make things right when they do screw up.

BOO! I usually really enojy Carls, although I dont frequent often. I went this morning and the girl working (short black girl with black hair in a bun) sucked, the food sucked, it all sucked! I was surprised, but she was quite rude and again the food sucked. It was cold, cold eggs, cold cheese (not even tried to be melted), the coffee was decent. But the hashbrowns were just deep fried nothings. Trash, absolute trash.
This location officially BLOWS!

Carl’s to me is a bit of a guilty pleasure, and as such somewhere I try to avoid in general. As fast food goes, I do love several of their items, in particular the Western Bacon Burger (s), Teriyaki Burger, and several of the $ 6 burger items they have. As fast food burger places go, they do have some of the greatest things, but with most of them come some crazy calories.
They have a Turkey Teriyaki Burger these days that is actually a relatively low calorie item that still comes with the great flavor that could easily get you hooked on Carl’s, it’s the one thing I will sometimes go for without getting overly quilted out and still a nice alternative to blander items you find at other fast food places.
This location is a little slow at times on the drive through, but in The District you expect and get used to that.

The only reason we come to this fast food place is because of the amazing play structure they have. Absolutely one of the best in the area! I even had to climb up to the top because my little child decided he was too tired to come down and I fit!

This place is quick at cooking your food its the taking orders they have issues with!
