¹²⁄₂₂ update– ok so maybe I was a little harsh so I’m updating my review to 3 stars, instead of 1, specially because the other day I was in and told the Dr my neck specially hurt that day and he took the time to do an extra massage and apply lotion to ease my pain. Also because after my review they froze my account and reached out to me and offered to cancel it… My neck and shoulders need a lot of help so I’ll be sticking around.

This place seemed promising at first due to its concept but it turned out to be a BIG mistake for me.
They told me that for $ 49 per month for 6 months, I could come for an adjustment 4 times per MONTH… What they failed to clarify is that it’s NOT per month it’s PER CYCLE. I went in today ¹¹⁄₉ and it turns out that my cycle resets every 12^th… So I explained to the receptionist that I didn’t know this and since I had driven 30 minutes out just to come in and considering that it was 3 days out, would it be possible to use one of my four for the following CYCLE today instead. The poor thing looked totally confused (obvious lack of training in customer service which is not her fault) and replied «We can’t do that but I can have the manager call you»… Not sure how that was supposed to solve my problem today but OK!
Sadly, this is not my first bad experience here, the second time I went in after I signed up, it turns out that «the Dr was running late» and the same receptionist had no idea how much longer he was going to be… So that was another trip wasted for me.

I’m a walk in here Brought my sister here. First impression is it’s pretty small. Front desk was friendly offered water and greeted us. Adjustment was 5 mins no appointment. That’s unheard of. But she has been feeling better and for the price it’s really a good deal. If I ever need to get adjustment I’d just come here or Downey which is the closest one after

Always late. Never on time, it’s a professional environment, but no professionalism here. Docs are helpful though. Just not very thorough

I do not recommend this place for anyone looking for a real chiropractor. The receptionist didn’t even know what a electrical nerve stimulation is. The Joint just does basic 3 minute adjustments and nothing else.
They also are not very good at keeping appointments. I called the day before notifying them of the time I will be coming in knowing that an appt. is not necessary, but I wanted to make sure the staff was available. The receptionist informed me that time slot was fine and even offered to call me for a reminder, which I declined. The day of the my «appointment», I showed up and they told me to come back because the doctor wants to go on his lunch break. The staff asked the doctor twice to see me, but the doc, sitting grumpily in his small office, refused, requiring the staff to ask me to come back after their lunch break. That kind of service really blows my mind and not in the positive way to say the least.
I will not be coming back nor do I think it’s worth it when wanting a real chiropractic experience.

Dr. Jaime is the BEST!!! He’s the only one I trust to touch my neck. He always cures my husband of his back and leg aches. He’s such a nice guy; I couldn’t ask for a better person to cure us of our pain. The front desk staff are always pleasant. We are so happy they opened this location so close to our home. I will only only go see Dr Jaime!!! Please give him try, and you won’t be disappointed!!!

I came to this location yesterday for lower back pain. I told the Dr I like to cycle and on Friday I hurt by back cycling. He adjusted my back focusing on those areas that hurt and associated with cycling. When I left I felt 10Xs better. Parking can be a pain. I recommend Dr Morales to all!!!

First time we walked in the receptionist was super nice very helpful (wish I new her name. Extra star just for her.) scheduled and appointment for my husband at 5:30pm. Handed us the paperwork so we would be able to get in quicker. My husband goes the day of his appointment only to find out that they wouldn’t take him because their system was down. Fine understandable but annoying cause time and gas were wasted. Schedules him for the next day same time. Mind you 5:30 is the latest appointment but they close at 7. Now my husband gets out of work at around that time so we haul ass to damn place for them to say we don’t take new patients at 5:30 plus you’re late and it’s not fair to other customers. (The place was empty) (different receptionists btw) not really their fault cause it was the doc who turned my husband away. (Wish I knew his name).
Basically our time and gas were wasted for nothing TWICE. And my husbands back is still in pain. Thanks for nothing «Doc».

What a friendly staff. I travel to CA often and I try to visit the joints when I’m on vacation. I love getting adjusted. The science is amazing.
The docs here are friendly and the staff was very welcoming. One of my favorite joints. The one in Downey is pretty awesome too.
I’ll be stopping by my next time out to Ca!

First time here. Great experience had my doubts that they might of not be able to help me out. But Dr. Jaime proved wrong COMPLETELY I came out way better he explained everything and was super nice. I hurt myself working out and had a really bad pain in my shoulder. He made it better! Unbelievable but it happen and I’m really happy of the work he did! Will be going back again and again and again…

The Joint Chiropractor located at the Azalea plaza in the city of South Gate, CA has a amazing service beginning with the receptionist Leslie that she’s been super nice and has the best customer service with the patients since the beginning you walk in to the office and my mom and I are patients and we first met Leslie at the Downey, CA location and switch to the South Gate location since we live a block away and we got super happy when we saw her their at the South Gate location and made us happy, plus doctor Jaime Paredes it’s a great chiropractor and had help my mom and I a lot with the adjustments and I can say one of the best chiropractor doctor The Joint has. I do recommend this place but only from Sunday through Tuesday because that’s the only time Leslie and DR. Jaime are their and both of them are such a great team from customer service to chiropractor services. Best team ever go Leslie and Dr. Jaime.

I went in yesterday to have my back adjusted, which felt AMAZING, and Lesly (the receptionist) was soooo nice & helpful! Dr. Jaime was great! Very attentive. My boyfriend went in to have his back adjusted also and he suffers from back pain and with just yesterdays trip he felt soooo much better. Highly recommend this place! :)

Been coming to this location for about 2 months now and my back has never felt better. Great chiropractors!

I’ve been suffering from a stiff neck and pain in my mid back for many years. And Of course treatment can be very expensive. About a month ago I was driving by the area and I came across this place «The Joint» immediately the 19 dollar adjustment advertisement really got my attention. Therefore I decided to make an appointment. I met Dr Mendoza who is outstanding with her hands. She takes her time addressing your issues and very skilled. Since then I had no issues with my back & Neck. Dr Mendoza is Highly Recommended !!!

Dr. Mendoza and Gryselda are the best! On top of the services being super affordable, they have great customer service and are always friendly and courteous! They are always part of my weekly plan– nothing like feeling good from the adjustment and the atmosphere they provide!!!

They are super affordable. I got adjusted by Dr. Jaime and I instantly felt so much better. He’s the best! I got adjusted by a woman (I think it was Dr. Mendoza?) and although she was ok, she was a bit rushed. I feel like Dr. Jaime takes his time and is very precise in what he does. Also, the receptionist Lesly is super personable. I enjoy talking to her when I’m there. She keeps the front of the office so clean and organized. I got their monthly plan and don’t regret it. They’re awesome!

This spot just opened on 15^th of February. I saw Dr. Jaime and he is awesome. Very attentive and knows what he’s doing. He asks if there are any issues and works on those for you.
