Stanford Avenue Elementary School

Super disappointed with this school! First, start by looking at the website very un-​informative literally a waste of a website. The website alone tells you how unorganized they are and how much they care about keeping the parents informed. Ive had a couple of incidents one in which my kid came out of school with a busted lip and never did I get a call from the school to let me know about the incident! My six year old literally came out of school with a swollen bottom lip and told me herself that it had happened hours ago! It wasn’t until I personally went to the office to speak to someone that they addressed the issue! That was probably one of my first issues with the school so I kinda let that slide. One thing that caught me by surprise that day tho was the office they brought me in… Omg! What a mess! There’s no way they keep up with most of the things they’re supposed to with an office that bad! There was literally no source of organization in that office. There was no empty space infront of the table they sat us on. There was just stack after stack of folders and papers and books. How is this school even running? And let me tell you some of the staff there are soooooo rude! It’s happened a couple times but just this week I went into the office with my daughter after school to ask for a visitors pass to go to the book fair going on in the library and there was this blond lady at the end of the office and she was going on and on talking to someone while I just stood there waiting for her to acknowledge my presence (you know the civil thing to do). So after a while I said, «excuse me?» Thinking you know maybe she doesn’t see me? Even tho I’m in clear view… And guess what?! Nothing! She didn’t even turn to look at me or bothered with a simple hi I’ll be right there or anything even after I said excuse me a second time a little louder. Ugh! I’m literally done! With that school and also don’t bother calling the school for any reason cuz they don’t answer phone calls apparently…
