JW Wireless: Southgate – Verizon Wireless Premium Retailer

Stopped by today and was welcomed by courteous staff! Had a pleasant time and got an awesome deal for 3 of my lines. Would definitely recommend this store. It’s not over crowded like other stores near the area.

This store now goes by the name: 4G Premium Wireless Retailer.
WARNING: Do not go to this store.
They are very nice but my experience tells me they are deceiving. It must be because they work on commission.
I went this week and asked about a Verizon phone offer. They didn’t have this offer they stated they can give me a similar deal. This is the time they should have told me they weren’t a corporate «Verizon» store.
I decided to buy a phone (note 5) and other assessories, upgrades… The salesperson said it would be only $ 15.00 more than my current bill.
During this purchase they asked if I wanted insurance… I said no. They kept telling me why I needed it… I left it alone thinking they understood «no» means «no».
So eventually I left the store with an uneasy feeling. So I called the «real» Verizon and they told me my future month has now increased by about $ 40/​month! In addition, they charged me for Verizon insurance in addition to 3^rd party insurance (my fault I should have been attentive to the receipt).
So the next day I returned and told them I wanted my money back and returned all items (you have 14 days to return per contract). I asked for the Manager and the young lady stated that he is out. The acting Manager told me they would return all and only charge me one re-​stocking phone fee of $ 50 (They stated it was regularly $ 100).
Well at that time out walks a person from the back room that looked like manager material. Sure enough he was the District Manager! So I told him all my problems about the deceitful employees. I tried to show him the contract which specifically stated that anyone can return phones within 14 days with NO restocking fee providing they were not scratched. Mine were in perfect shape. They were going to charge me $ 50 restocking for the Note 5 that I never took out of the box.
Eventually this district manager provided 100% credit and waved the screen protector charges that were initially put on my phone… he then gave me a voucher for $ 200 towards a phone purchase «at their store or similar». I don’t think I will be using it.
I feel bad for «la raza» Hispanics that will not be able to read the fine print on their warranty or are not able to read English.
I’m a loyal Verizon customer (about 14 years) but I’ll be sticking to with corporate stores only.

Chantel is awesome !!! She took the time to show me a couple of phones explained the pros and cons of each one finally decided to purchase note 5 which I love. Excellent phone! She also spent a good quality of time speaking with my sister and mother again finding what suited them best both bought a galaxy s6 and ended getting a Droid turbo for my pops. Total of 4 phones. At this point the store was getting full of customers their staff (girls didnt get their names) tackled them down in and out they went, came and helped Chantel put screen protectors and cases on all our phones while she was working on paper work. Talk about team work. Chantel made the process very smooth, comforting, funny and positive. The girl was so professional at the same time wanted to make sure she connected with you. Coming from 10 year customer service experience now a days you don’t find that good customer service that just «Wows you «. I took the time to write this review because she did… thanks again Verizon, service is great I have a happy family with all new phones all thanks to Chantel and her good vibes.

Swung by yesterday to pick up a particular 64GB phone. Waited. Quiet morning. Salesman came over to help me. Asked for the phone I wanted. Yes, he said, we have it in stock. Went to the back to get it. Came out with the 32GB version. «Did you ask for the 32GB version?» he asked. Nope. Want the 64GB model. Oh.
It would have been fine to say that was a mistake and apologize. Instead what he said was that the 64GB phone was «usually» a special order, and that he could get it in a couple of days. Hmmm. Wrong answer.
I went to another Verizon store, which did have it in stock, and I bought it there.

I was charged for paying cash and so I didn’t like that they were charging me and so I tried canceling right there and then, I was talked into their edge plan which they did not explain one thing about I was only told «your only going to pay the taxes on the phone and you can take it home and your payment will only be 6 dollars more than your current payment» so i thought it sound like a good deal. So my first payment was nearly $ 200 and my payments are now $ 150 every month. Thanks verizon. Month after I went back and was not offered any service or told «we’ll be right with you». I left the store and called them and manager agreed he didn’t offer me service nor made me feel welcomed. You guys lost a customer. You have forgotten who’s the customer and who’s the vender.

Most horrible service ever. I have been here 3 times and I am now waiting for my contract to end so that I can cancel. They are very insensitive to the customers needs. They don’t care about the service. I waited for my phone to arrive for 5 days instead of the 2 day promise. My iPhone case broke and now I am waiting for over 30 min just to exchange it. They say they have to look at it and make sure it is broken ??? I absolutely do not like Verizon and I am finish wasting my valuable time with them.

This us a genuine Verizon store. Good size store. Great customer service. The phone selection is not great but the waiting time is minimal. Would definitely come back.
