Come here on a busy weekend and your car might get hit. Drivers are ruthless!
The In-​n-​Out is always a long wait, and trust me In-​n-​out is not that good to wait 45 minutes.
Plus, the parking spaces are tiny, your better off parking far than having a ding on your door like what happened to me.
Only good thing here is the variety of stores and eateries.
Good thing I only come here when I have to. If I’m around the area or passing by.

Well looks like they solve the «Tiny Parking Spots» Issue, I was surprised that my Jeep Cherokee actually fit in a spot last time I went, so I was like «Wait a minute» and sure enough, I could see they painted new lines making each spot bigger, so now truck and suv drivers can park and enjoy.

The Azalea Regional Shopping Center is a nice development in South Gate on the northwest corner of Firestone Blvd. & Atlantic Ave.
I go here mainly for Blaze, The Habit, Yogurtland, Michael’s (it’s more organized & cleaner than the one in Downey), Marshalls, Lemon Pop, & Walmart. This Walmart, though, always has a trash whirling around in the parking lot.
There are plenty of other stores and restaurants here mainly geared towards families.
For the longest time, the parking spots really irked me — particularly those near Blaze, etc. Jaime G. recently posted some pictures saying they repainted the lines to make them larger, but I had to see it to believe it. Sure enough, they have three painted the lines as of 9÷15÷15! Everyone in South Gate drives a big gnarly truck or an SUV… or they just can’t park period, so it was getting pretty frustrating. THANK YOU whoever made the final decision on getting it fixed.
Security is usually driving around in a golf cart if you need assistance. Also, they frequently have events, deejays, and little concerts here, etc. It’s pretty vibrant for South Gate. I like it.

Great to see that they re-​striped the lines for the now wider parking spots in the area nearest the amphitheater and water pop jets. The people have spoken!

I LOVE this shopping center! All the stores are great! Love going shopping there, you have walmart, and lots of clothing stores, I can spend my day there, when you wanna take a break just go and sit near the fountain with a delicious cup of frozen yogurt, the only thing that sucks is the parking lot, such small spaces! Some cars take 2 parkings, and we always have to look for a good parking space

This shopping center looks great! They have a variety of stores and restaurants. And a Walmart Supercenter which pretty much covers anything that you can’t find at another store haha
The downsides…
1. The parking spots are too tight.
2. There’s a fountain in front of Blaze Pizza. It’s an awesome addition to the shopping center. But not when you have a bunch of kids in it in their jeans and diapers screaming and jumping erratically. Their parents just sit and watch them like it’s all good. It’s NOT a water park. Take that to your backyard! And some don’t even watch them…
One guy was even changing his daughters shorts, pulled her diapers off in front of everyone (WTF?)
Then I saw some big 11 year-​old looking kid knock a younger boy (4 – 5) onto the back of his head. I’m not sure how he didn’t see him, but this kid ran directly into him hitting him with his belly.
Naturally, the father of the boy went to tell the older kid to watch where he’s going, calm down, etc.
Aaaaand naturally, the mother of the big kid started talking back defending her son instead of disciplining him.
NOBODY wants to see this type of thing when they’re eating outside (That’s why there’s tables outside right?)
Fix it. Block it, kick them out, do something.
Before someone gets seriously hurt and sues the shopping center.
It’s a liability. I also see a lot of people asking for help finding their cars that were stolen here.
Never seen anyone patrolling the parking lot here. Either they have no one or only one that sits in a corner.

I really like this place since they were constructing it. Haha
Okay no, but I always had a feeling it was going to become a great place to shop and to my surprise to dine as well. They have a great variety of affordable stores, including a Walmart (which hopefully doesn’t close like the others), ross, marshals, etc. they have one of my favorite in-n-out’s!!! And a «the habit». Yesterday that I came, I saw children playing in that splashing water thing by yogurtland and they seemed to be having a lot of fun. Overall, it is a great new shopping center. Oh and finally I have an Ulta closer than Burbank! Props to that!

It is about time that my hometown South Gate gets a much needed shopping center! Who would have known that it would have flourished in such a short amount of time. With an array of stores and eateries, it’s no wonder that this place has become such a hit with the locals!
Probably the biggest store in the shopping center is Wal Mart. The most popular– has to be In N Out! They also house Ross, Ulta Beauty, and quite the variety of restaurants such as Blaze Fast Pizza, Panda Express, TGIFriday’s, The Habit, Yogurtland, Wing Stop, Hawaiian BBQ and others. Parking is very ample with the only times that it can get crowded is on the weekends and evenings at times.
Beware as people here can get confrontational with the close by parking. I mean, come on. Really?! They also have a small artificial grassy area where one can enjoy the great outdoors, as well as a fountain that is on most of the time. Since its inception about 2 years ago, it still looks brand new. Lets see if the citizens can keep it looking that way. The one place I frequent the most is Friday’s, WalMart and In N Out.
Overall, there is much to see and explore here. Because it is almost always full with shoppers, you can now see why this place is such a hit.

Cool shopping center. A wide variety of stores. But with a mixture of always being packed, shaddy people hanging out and idiot drivers that clearly shouldn’t have a license, I try to limit my visits here.

I love how fresh and new this center is. So many great stores and eateries to meet all your needs.

The staff at this sprint store are polite and have great customer service, from the minute you want it to the second you walk out!!! Ask for Antonio when you go he knew what he was doing and didn’t mess things on our plan like other stores tend to do

People be careful there is not enough patrol ! A lot of Car jacking in bright daylight !! It’s sad but Its safer park ur car in COMPTON !!!

My only complaint is the parking area near the restaurant section. The parking spaces are super narrow. Big cars have to double park. Other then that, Azalea offers tons of stores and dining options. Love that it’s close to home. The décor is nice and modern! Nice patio tables outside the restaurants. This is a great place for all ages. Lots of families, couples, groups of friends.

Finally a nearby shopping center with all the essentias. Walmart, Chipotle, In n out, Ross and Cvs. Plenty of parking just be cautious because stalls are a tight fit. I recommend parking far away and enjoy walking the shopping center. Just to bad that its a 10% tax in South Gate so Downey Landing it is unless I’m lazy and come here. Its just nice to have a local option.

This center is still pretty new so there’s not too much to say really but the parking spaces on the F21, Habit Burger side for some reason are very small. I’m talking small like a regular compact car is a tight fit. Forget trying to park a truck on that side. There was someone parked in a truck next to me that was half on the sidewalk and half in the parking space. So park on the other side and walk over.

This place Is just perfect we much needed it something like this in the area kids have fun youngsters have fun adults as we’ll restaurants and many other shops cants wait till is all done few more stores to open let’s just help to maintain it nice and clean

I cannot believe no one has created this one but certainly quick to creat one for Walmart Supercenter with an incorrect time listing for hours. How do you know it closes at 10pm if you don’t read the sign like «Open 24 Hours at this location» plastered at the entrance? *shrugs* That’s what you get for not reading.
This is a great addition to the area and finally something in this giant lot of land that has been vacant for number of years. IN-​N-​OUT and CVS were quick on the draw to open it’s doors for business while others put the final touches to their stores. Petco and Marshalls are now open which followed Ross who was very eager to start first. Are you all ready for TGIFridays to open up here very soon? Just imagine the traffic getting in and out of this plaza.
I think it’s a better revenue generating for this community rather than a casino in the adjacent town. Good for South Gate because I’ll be hungry after shopping around.
