Why have the convience of having an online app if the store is not set up for it? At least that is what we were told when we ordered online the other day. Order was sent to a store in downtown Chicago, card was charged and told sorry. Still waiting on the refund. Not the worst thing in the world, but be a little nicer to your customers. Making them feel like they did something wrong is not good customer service. Don’t offer online ordering when a store is not set up for it. Don’t treat people rudly.

I dined here this evening with children 2 under 5 and one 8 years old. And two other adults. As we are eating my 8 year old got very upset two of the girls at the front register was watching the tv and had the channel fx on and watching twilight which is a show that wolves were eating people and a lady bleeding to death with blood everywhere so we asked one of the girls to turn the channel they did so we went to the washroom came back to finish our pizza and one of the girls turned it back on so of course I went back very stern to turn this show off. They did ok thank you. My first problem is employees shouldn’t be sitting around watching tv. 2nd why would a program like that be on in the first place very tasteless. I did call and talk to a «manager» Leah she didn’t seem to care very much! We will never return ever

I hadn’t been to this Giordano’s in many years and now I know why! We were there for dinner on a Friday night, fairly good crowd and they handled that okay, could have been a little quicker but it was bearable. We didn’t opt for the pizza; but ordered sandwiches, salads and apps. The dressing comes in one of those little bags you tear open — seriously; you can’t do better than putting a bag if dressing on your salad? The Italian Beef sandwich was horrible! I had forgot Giordano’s uses nutmeg as a seasoning on everything which gives it a horrible taste that stays with me for two days. I just don’t get using that spice on Italian food, just doesn’t go. The beef is of poor quality as well; much better off at some if the other local beef and dog places. Won’t be going back anytime soon…

Absolutely amazing! I had the deep dish«special style». The crust is amazing like a flaky croissant! The cheese is gooey, creamy heaven! The sauce is just about right I would prefer just a tad sweeter but it is excellent. Best deep dish pizza I ever had. My sister got her half with spinach, mushroom, artichokes and garlic and it was awesome also. The garlic is awesome, wish I got it on my half. I had Lou malnatis in October for the first time. This is hands down better pizza. Lou’s sauce tastes like canned tomatoes and hard string cheese. Giordanos is MUCH better. I will definitely be back. I can wait until Giordanos open in Indianapolis!

Giordanos in south elgin 1. Worse service 2. Rude waitress 3. No Refills on water 4. Waited 1 hour for pizza then asked when it would come out Oh too many outside orders thus another 20 min to wait 5. Looked around and 2 other tables got served who came in after us

Great place to eat. Pizza was excellent. Always had drinks. Never had a moment where we needed something urgently and couldn’t get it. Staff always smiling. Even were given free paper plates. I was skeptical of the« Unilocal loves us» sign out front but after eating here I realized why it was so loved. 5⁄5 would eat here again.

I love both the thin crust and deep dish pizza and have never had a disappointing experience either with dining in or carry out. I have not had a better deep dish pizza than theirs. The only reason I can’t give them 5 stars is because they are pretty pricey compared to most pizza places.

I just got done with lunch here. Here are my issues… First, they changed their menu. They do not have the creamy chicken and rice soup that they used to have. That was the best soup. I was a little upset that they didn’t have it. Second, because they changed their menu, most of the entres do not come with soup or salad. You’re essentially paying the same amount of money for less food. Not to mention that because they changed the menu, they changed certain prices on their food. It’s more expensive than it was last year. Third, the waitress that we had was a little ignorant. She talked our heads off and wouldn’t actually let us eat. She was nice, but seriously wouldn’t stop talking. Fourth, I was here multiple times last year and within the last five years. The waitresses and waiters had always been really nice, the service was great, and the food was reasonable for the amount of it. I would have given this restaurant five stars 2 – 5 years ago. Now? It’s definitely a 3 star restaurant, unfortunately.

This location has really good lunch specials. The caesar salad was ok, the dressing was the star of the show. I’m never a fan of sprinkling the pizza parmesan on my caesar salad and that thing was loaded with it. The pizzas were hot and fresh, very tasty. We have really enjoyed a few nice lunches there.

This is my favorite pizza of all time. Food– The stuffed pizza is the best pizza I’ve ever had. Everything about it is heaven. You need to try it for yourself to know, no words can explain. Service– They cut your pizza for you at the table, nuff said Go there now.

Around the corner from my sister’s house, we decided to come for a late night dinner. Her family visits often. Years ago, when I lived here I thought their deep dish pizza was so good until you try Lou Malnati’s. For a quick fix deep dish it is not bad. We started with some soup and cheese garlic bread with drinks. Our waitress was friendly, a bit confused at times but nice. The cheese garlic bread and soup was very good. Then we ordered some pasta dishes with a thin crust pizza. I wanted deep dish and my sister said«no way their thin crust is much better.» Normally I do not like thin crust but wow, to my surprise this pizza was not very thin, good crust, fresh ingredients and the sauce and cheese were very tasty. Yes, we had a great night with some pretty darn good food, especially the pizza it really made me a fan. The wine list is not impressive. I wish more pizzeria’s had better options. Reasonable prices, good food, good service, yeah not to shabby.
