First Priority DKI is an extraordinary professional company that does outstanding work. The teams led by Dan and Rob for the remediation and repair work for the severe water and mold damage to our home were exceptional. First, the quality of the work is excellent. The workers know what they are doing and always made sure to check that we were satisfied with their progress. If an issue arose it was dealt with immediately and to our satisfaction. They are thorough, professional and their care and concern helped us through the ordeal. There is not enough positive that we can say about DKI

Our experience with DKI was great. They came out and removed a damaged floor in our basement as soon as our insurance reached out to them. They set up fans and dehumidifers to dry out the area. Within a few days Chris came out and took a look at the space and talked with us about replacement flooring. When we mentioned wanting to replace with something different, he connected us with his flooring supplier and we were able to pick out something we liked more that would be more durable. Construction was scheduled and took place in a timely manner. We were very happy with the overall process and found DKI very easy to work with.

By far, the most unprofessional company I have ever had to deal with! From to rudeness of the crew and «estimator» to the billing of services not received, not to mention the shoty work preformed. It has been a uphill battle during a very stressful time.

My basement flooded a few months back and Terry came out to assess the damages and gave us a time frame of when it would be done and the steps it would take for it to be taken care of. His team came out to cut drywall, put out fans etc… They took care of business even though between the office and them communication wasn’t the greatest. Lots of confusion. When the remodel began NOTHING was taken care of the way it was portrayed. We were told a few weeks, took 3 months. We were promised custom made items that were half done. We had to repeatedly tell Terry of all the shortcuts and mistakes and the whole time he made us feel like we were asking a lot. We only went off of what we were promised. I give Terry 5 stars on being a salesman cause he sold us from the beginning. I could go into it so much further but this whole ordeal was sad from the beginning. Just for warning anyone in advance that this guy will make your remodel a nightmare. I usually don’t bash or down anyone but I could not let this slide. STAY AWAY!!!

We had lightning strike our house. Thankfully there was no fire. I called DKI and they were out the next day to tarp the roof and seal up the chimney that was damaged from the lightning strike. Terry and Rob were responsive, thorough and professional. Once we sorted out the insurance claim, DKI was back out to make the repairs. Rob even came back out afterwards to touch up some nail heads with paint, that I hadn’t even noticed. I’d make First Priority your first call if you need help with home damage.

We called First Priority DKI when our basement flooded during the July downpours in Will County, IL. The response was immediate and First Priority DKI was out to our home within 12 hours of our first contact with them. Their employees were polite and hard-​working … and on time! They left our home in top-​knotch shape, ready for new replacement work to begin. This company worked extremely well with our insurance company and accommodated our schedule and circumstances every step of the way. I would recommend them without hesitation should you be unlucky enough to suffer flooding or other damage to your home. This is a highly reliable and stellar business …
