I don’t know how I ended up finding this place. I was looking for a new engine for my 01 Honda Civic. Called them and ask for a quote they told me they sale the engine and if they install it for you they give you warranty. After shopping around I decided to buy my engine from them with installation because of the warranty. I must have called them like 10x that day and ask question about the engine. They never answer the questions annoyed always friendly!
Went there on a Saturday to drop of my car from the valley an hour away. I got there spoke to the owner filled out paper work and he said he will call me if the car needs anything else done. I would only have to pay for the part and not the labor. He said my car would be done by Tuesday. Told him that I would pick it up Saturday because I work during the week. He had no problem with it he was going to store the car in the lot.
Went Saturday to pick up my car at 9am. They said that all my parts are good except for the motor mount. I told him no problem to install it and add it to the bill.
The engine sounds good and looks clean. The car runs great. Hopefully I don’t have a problem but I know if I do I have warranty and they will take care of it.

For starters, there is a ton of motors at this place! From honda motors to nissan motors! It’s like a candy store everytime i walk into this place. The workers here are very helpful. The owner’s son, Lewis, is very knowledgable and patient. I have had my car worked on here many times. Also i have purchased a few B20’s here and i abused them on track for 4 years strong! Also a blast stopping by, will recommend anytime!

Bought numerous JDM goodies for my Prelude and other Hondas over the years. Just recently purchased a JDM H23A Blue Top for my Prelude from here for $ 900…Can’t beat that price. Vincent has great customer service.

Help full and knowledgeable in jdm. Good customer experience. The sells rep was not available and yet he took and answered what he could.

Great prices for engines.

I have been purchasing front clips, motor sets, parts, etc from Vincent and J&R for years. Also having been in the industry for years and having dealt with a lot of other importers in the LA area I can tell you that the quality of parts Vincent gets is very good compared to others. Swapping in a bad engine or installing broken parts always results in lost time and money for a shop. That’s why its critical to get good quality used parts every single time, the first time around. Vincent has come through for me for many years in this respect, and I will continue to use him in the future.
A little tip for people who have not purchased a lot of parts from importers. Everything your buying is used and all sales are final. Assume everything you buy will need to be reconditioned before installing (gaskets, seals, etc). Once you understand and accept this, your buying experience at any importer will be much better.

The sales guy Vincent really knows his stuff. Not just prices, also mechanical stuff too. Competitive prices, excellent service, and rare parts from Japan! I would recommend coming here first, if you are looking for JDM parts for your import car!
