LOL. on Eli’s response. I didn’t even get a courtesy reply asking for a $ 10 written quote. As I mentioned in my review; I got ZERO response. Avoid these guys.

Man! Thank you Eli and Julissa! Had to get my rear aluminum motorcycle wheel fixed, due to an unfortunate speed wobble at California speedway on turn 13 that sent me onto a path directly into the dirt, so a friend told me to give Fast Forward a call. Had a bend on the wheel, and couldn’t spend another thousand on a new wheel, so the repair was next best option. Got my wheel back, and it balances out. no problems, no more bend, hopefully i wont have to see him again too soon. J/​k.

DO NOT USE Eli or Fast Forward Wheels, AKA Wheel Dynamics, for wheel refinishing.
Just took back a set of BBS RS 212s in pieces from Eli and Fast Forward Wheels. I brought the wheels to Eli to solve some assembly problems that the previous owner of the wheels had created. Prior to bringing these wheels in Eli had repainted two other sets of BBS M5 wheels for me and they looked good but not amazing like some of the samples in his show room. Anyway, the BBS RS wheels are a three piece design and we discusses how he would have his guys take them apart, asses the condition, and report back the findings. My concern with these wheels was if they were straight, true, and damaged in any way from the previous owner who over torqued the bolts and seemed to dimple the mounting face of the outer lips.
Eli promised a report on the condition of everything in a week or two. He also promised that he would have the parts available for me to inspect prior to doing any work so we could evaluate the condition and take the next step for corrective action. That never happened. After three weeks of no communication I finally called to find out what was going on. They would always answer the phone., who are you? and what are we doing for you ?
Here’s the bottom line., I spent a couple grand with this company and got the worst service on earth and average wheel refinishing. Eli is really a Ebay wheel seller pitching Taiwanese Porsche knock-​offs. That’s his real business. Their shop is located in a commercial corporate office complex, which is weird because I expected them to be located in a manufacturing zone of some kind for wheel refinishing, and when I asked him to see his shop I got the tour of a small garage stocked with wheels and tires. No wheel stripping area, sanding and pre-​prep area, paint booth, etc. When questioned he said that he has another shop for all the refinishing work.
So here’s the catch and it took me a couple sets of wheels to figure it out., all the refinishing work is outsourced to a shop that he has a relationship with. Early on I asked him to send me a picture of his equipment used to check and straighten bent wheels and got an email with a marketing brochure image of a machine attached. Obviously he picked it off the Web. That should have tipped me off right there.
The big rub in this whole mess is I found out after having him refinished my two sets of BBS M5 wheels that his «special process» that I paid extra for involves surface sanding the old existing finish and then repainting. Holly Sh** !! I told him that the paint job on the wheels was old and crappy and was starting to chip off. His reply was, «we do it all the time, the original wheel coat is the best to paint over.» My problem is these wheel had three or four bad coats of paint on them and now I have five. He also painted a set of Brembo 996 brake calipers. yup, another paint over job, and also had him put on a custom M logo that ended up being applied crooked.
So now back to the BBS RS wheels. I told Eli I was pulling the restoration project from him because it was just to hard to communicate with him and his staff. Nothing seemed to happen in the timeline they promised. This morning I picked up the parts and noticed a couple things right off. Everything seemed to be sanded. The lip faces, that had a pretty good polish on them, are all scratched up from sanding, the inside of the lips and barrels are sanded, and the worst part is someone machine sanded the tops of the center webs flat !!! There’s probably close to ¹⁄₁₆^th of aluminum missing from the tops of the center webs which should have a slightly rounded shape from the original BBS casting., but are now flat. I might have to sue him over this if there is serious damage. These centers aren’t available any longer.
Anyone considering using Eli or Fast Forward Wheels, or Wheel Dynamics should turn and run the other way. Either take your wheels to RotiForm in Garden Grove, or LAX Wheels in LA. For three piece wheels I’d use RotiForm. That’s where my project is at now.

Worked on my after market NSX wheels and them look better then brand new! Would definitely recommend for somebody for a quality job!

I wanted to share my experience with everyone while going to Wheel Dynamics about two months ago.
I know these guys specialize in Porsche cars & hey I figured what the heck I would stop by any way to see what they would help me get new tires for my ride.
After speaking to the friendly and knowledgeable staff I felt that I was in the right place, they were able to get me a set of tires at prices below any other shops in the area including those who were claiming to have the volume discounts.
While there I also explained to them that I purchase my rims from another shop and my car has always vibrated when I drove over 70-​mph, these guys removed and measured my wheels and found-​out that the wheels which were sold to me where not hub-​centric!!! These guys were able to special order me the hub-​centric spacers I needed to cure that issue.
A day later I returned to have my tires and spacers installed, MAN OH MAN, what a difference, no vibration, smooth as silk. These guys have a Road-​Force balancing machine that has a 3D monitor with LASERS that tell them exactly where to place any weights needed, they also used NITROGEN to inflate my tires and a TOUCH-​LESS Tire machine so they don’t scratch wheels. They were nice enough to explain this to me while I was there and even allowed me to watch them install tires on my chrome wheels which I was scared to let anyone else touch them as I’ve had bad experiences in the past with other shops who either didn’t have a good installer or good equipment.
These guys have both!!!
Anyhow I just had to voice my true and honest feedback for another local business that deserves a PERFECT SCORE!

Eli and his team of Porsche specialist are great to work with. Being owners of Porsches themselves, they understand the needs of us Porsche enthusiasts. Definitely recommended. I lent him my car for a photoshoot and when I got it back, he not only washed the exterior, but he had the interior cleaned. And all I was expecting was cool new professional pictures of my car to hang on the wall :)
oh yeah, and they also do awesome wheel repair!!!

a few people have PMed me asking about my calipers and wheels.
as of today, my calipers have one rock chip, which is unavoidable if you drive your car. I asked FF Wheels what I should do about this and they said they would touch it up free of charge, which is really cool.
also, my wheels have 2 rock chips. This is also unavoidable. I DD this car and track it at least 10 times a year. That is a lot of wear and tear on the calipers and wheels. The job FF Wheels did on my car last year has stood up well to the abuse I have given them! Just to put it in perspective, since I was at FF Wheels, I am about to be on my 3^rd set of brake pads, my second set of rotors and my 3^rd set of tires, so that should give you a strong perspective of what tracking your car does to the wheels and brakes.

Great little wheel shop in Monterey Park. Brought my Boxster Spyder in and got some beutiful 808’s. Staff extremely knowledgeable about All things Porsche. They’ve got the hook-​ups for anything Tuner. Thanks Eli ans Elvis great job.

FF Wheels is a great little shop hidden in Monterey Park.
They are priced right, do a FANTASTIC job, and very knowledgeable. They also have a couple of the nicest tire mounting machines I’ve ever seen.
However, there is a downside. And others have mentioned it. They are not fast. Figure 3+ weeks to get your wheels back after you drop them off.
BUT, WOW! WHAT A GREAT JOB THEY DO!
Seriously, if you’ve had wheels fixed @ other shops, you will not believe how good the work is here. Everyone says they strip off old paint, BUT THESE GUYS DO IT! Everyone says they do quality assurance, BUT THESE GUYS DO IT! Everyone says they take extra care, BUT THESE GUYS DO IT!
So, budget at least 3 weeks to get your wheels done. Believe me, when you get them back, the time waiting will be forgotten.

A FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE.
I took my Audi TT Quattro aluminum wheel, which had a half inch long hairline crack along the inside rim, to get repaired on a Monday morning. The wheel was removed from my vehicle and stripped of the tire before I brought it to FFW. I meet Carlos who takes a look at it and says «no problem, simple fix, I’ll have it repaired in a couple of days».
Wednesday comes along and I call to get a status report and Carlos tells me that it should be done and ready to pick up by Thursday Afternoon. Carlos tells me to call him Thursday afternoon to make sure it is ready.
On Thursday afternoon I call to make sure the wheel is ready to pick up. Carlos tells me that the wheel is not ready and it should be done and ready to pick up on Friday morning.
Well, Friday morning arrives so I call to get a status and Carlos tells me that «nope, it is not ready. It should be done by Monday.»
By this time, I have stopped holding my breathe. There is a pattern forming here, and by Carlos’ telephone demeanor, I could tell that he doesn’t really give a s_​_​t if his customer is without a drivable vehicle and which he stated could get fixed in two days.
Monday comes by and guess what? Not ready.
Tuesday comes by but this time it takes several messages and a few hours before he calls me back to tell me «it isn’t ready, call me tomorrow.
Wednesday turns out to be very irritating when Carlos refused to return my call despite me leaving several messages. What kind of business doesn’t return phone calls? I had to check their website to make sure that they were open on Wednesdays. Then I thought, why would he tell me to call him the next day if they were closed. It turns out that they are open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. all week.
Thursday, Carlos continues to ignore my messages and refuses to return my phone calls. I just can’t understand why, in economic times like this, someone would ignore their customers.
Friday, he finally picks up and says that he was «driving and couldn’t pick up the company cell phone». Well why didn’t you at least return my phone calls, I asked. Carlos responded with «I was too busy».
He then reluctantly tells me that my wheel will be ready after 3:00 p.m. this afternoon. When I get there, Carlos made it seem like I am lucky to have him do a simple weld repair.
0 customer service with no apology or substantial reason for not returning my phone calls. If I could, I would give him a negative 3 stars. Too bad you can’t give less than a one star rating.
Carlos is a jerk! He really didn’t care that I was out of a car for two weeks.
The funny thing… this is not my first time at FFW. I had some work done with Eli about a year and a half ago. Customer service was great. I even chatted with Eli for almost an hour when I picked up my Audi. Eli was a very personable guy from what I recall.
Unfortunately, because of Carlos’ cocky attitude and disregard for his customers, this is my last time at Fast Forward Wheels.
2 weeks for a one inch long hair-​line crack repair on top of the terrible customer service… don’t waste your time with this place.

Eli at Fast Forward is a honest straight shooter and does fantastic work. I had some old school 1 pc wheels that he refinished and I am beyond pleased. AWESOME! Good pricing, good timing and great customer service that is most of all honest. LOVE IT.

I brought in my 2007 Esclade to get a bent rim repaired. So the owner Eli comes out and says he can take care of it. Next thing you know, he’s inside and said that he can’t help me take the wheel out because it was too hot. Unbelievable (as I’m thinking does he even want my business???)! So his assistant was friendly enough to take it off for me… Once inside, he told me he would have the wheel repaired within a week… A week somehow turned into 2 weeks…
2 weeks later… I called and asked them how the progress was only to find out they had accidentally shipped it back to the original repair factory! I was livid but contained my composure as they made a call to get the wheel back… B/​c of this, this lead to another week delay…
3 weeks later…
They told me to come in in the morning and they would have my wheel mounted. So I drive in and find out the owner is still trying to put the tire on the wheel. I wait another 30 minutes in the hot sun only to find out he said he needed to send it back to repair… he told me that he accidently scratched the rim while putting the tire on… (mind you, he did not even apologize)! So I pretty much lost it and told him I don’t know how he runs a business but a businessman needs to stick to his word and commitment. And if you screw up, say sorry! No big deal! In any case, I didn’t have the time to wait another few weeks so I took the wheel as is… I told him the least he can do is put back the spare under my car… The next few words shocked me. He said «We don’t do that here and it’s really hot today. My worker’s are not here to help»… Those were his exact words. At that point I’ve about had it and left with my car and my fixed yet newly scratched wheel… This shop and its owner is unbelievable!

I needed replacement tires for my cayman so I decided to give Fast Forward Wheels a call. The the shop owner (Eli) picked up and took care of everything. It was easier than ordering a box of pizza. If your looking for new tires, this is the place to go!

For a very reasonable price, they made my 10 year old stock BMW M3 wheels glisten like they were new.
Eli is very attentive and clear and delivers on what he promises and more. He even offered to polish the lip of my wheels at no additional charge!
(Now all I need is a car worthy of some black chrome with a red stripe around the lip!)
