By far the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. We were the only party in the restaurant and now I know why.

Used to go there every week or two with friend. Friendly staff. Quiet place not a lot food traffic. They have good ma po tofu& good eggplant dish. Recommend May east fried rice, and combination plate (see the last one, you can chose a main course, a type of fried rice, and one or two appaqizer; this is a option that a lot Chinese restaurant don’t have!)

I always try to stay on the positive side but this place was just awful. I now officially know what burnt salt tastes like. I went there with some friends a week ago for a late dinner. I ordered sweet and sour chicken and got chicken fingers with some sauce. Won’t be going back.

Got take out from here for the first time. I’d get it again. They were incredibly fast that’s for sure. The place was totally empty on a Saturday night. Awkward. A few people came for take out. I’d order from them again. The lady at the counter was nice. The chef too. And that’s it

The food is fantastic here, owners are friendly. Often empty as majority of sales are takeout and delivery. Portions are good and are reasonably priced. This is my favorite pick when in the mood for Chinese.

The food at May East is probably the best chinese cuisine in town, however, we only order from here when we don’t feel like driving over to our fave place in Brockton. The May East staff are nice, hard working and no doubt about it, they aim to please. The restaurant itself is laid back and equally so, we find the bar to be very plain & quaint, but the drinks are wonderful! Surely, these little details are what make May East’s regulars the most happy.

A few months ago we found ourselves here for a Saturday lunch. There were four of us. My Wife and I thought that the food was not all that good. Our first hint was when they served bread to us just after we sat down. .. not something that a good Chinese restaurant does. IIRC, we were the only folks in the restaurant, and after eating there, I understand why. We will not be back there.
