Established in 2010.

While working for another solar company, our co-​founder JW Jones grew tired of seeing poorly installed solar systems and believed he could bring professionalism, quality installation, workmanship, and superior customer service to the industry at the best possible value to their customers. Business Owner

JW is a central Florida native and a state licensed Solar Contractor and holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Florida in Business Administration. JW is PowerShift’s lead solar system designer and he holds certificates in solar design from the Florida Solar Energy Center (FSEC), The North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) and has completed solar photovoltaic training at Tom Henry’s world-​renowned Code Electrical school. JW is a Florida State Licensed Energy Rater and specializes in offering solutions to greatly reduce your home’s energy consumption. JW’s passion, experience, and training will ensure the best possible installation and performance of your system.
