Been in the business for over 30 years, started in the UK and moved to Maine in 2004. Our 2 sons joined the business in 2010 and our youngest daughter will be joining the business soon.

Business Owner

Hi my name is Phillip I moved to Maine from the UK in 2004. I started my business Blinds by Design in March of 2004. I have been in the window treatment and awning business for over 30 years. My interests out side of work are Power Lifting, Private Pilot, Fishing and my two Jack Russells.

My wife and two sons also work for the business. In 2011 we added the SunSetter Awning brand which has been doing very well. In 2013 we will be adding Shadetree Canopies as well.
