Nordic Wood Floors specializes in custom wood floor installations and restoration. Old and new wood floors are sanded and finished with the highest quality, and environmentally friendly stains and finishes are used. Our work is done using industrial vacuums that take the dust out of your site leaving a very clean worksite.

History

Established in 1986.

Nordic Wood Floors is run by a second generation flooring craftsman and has operated in the Catskill mountain and upper Hudson Valley region since inception. The business has adapted to the many design trends that have come along weather that may be inlaid designs, custom stains or reclaimed flooring. We have also expanded into custom trim work and staircases.

After college my passion for wood drove my decision to open my business. The area in which I live has allowed me to pursue outdoor activities that I love. I am happily married with three lovely kids.
