Will not go again as they«round» up when paying in cash. So be sure if using cash to count your money they short change you.

I usually go after work when I really need a drink. They have a good selection of drinks and the vibe is good. There are a bunch of tvs so you can catch a game while putting back a drink. They have $.50 wings on Mondays and I can’t resist the value. For $.50 these wings are pretty good. I’ve had their buffalo, Parmesan garlic, and Asian sweet chili. Their Asian sweet chili is really good, they’re buffalo are average for buffalo wings, and their Parmesan garlic wings had a weird aftertaste. I think it’s a good place to go to after work if you’ve had a long day and you want to relax.

Recently stopped in for brunch. Server was very pleasant. Room temperature was a bit chilly. Food was not anything special, bit overpriced. Coffee and lattes were luke warm. So many other places in the area, will try somewhere else next time.

Stephi’s is a solid choice. Great drinks and friendly bartenders and good food. I especially love brunch here, the warm goat cheese and the cornbread are both amazing. My only complaint is that it is overpriced $$$.

This has become our local go-to spot for brunch, lunch and dinner. Bar staff is really friendly and knowledgeable. They chat with you and are interesting to talk to. A lost art at most bars. The music is always excellent and there are plenty of TVs with just about any sport. The new menu is a welcome change. Particularly the salmon salad. Perfect variety of options from bar snacks to salads or comfort food when the hunger calls.

Went for lunch today. Had seen $ 10 lunch specials listed on social media, but had to ask for that menu. Might have been honest mistake. Ordered chicken tacos – could choose from chicken, beef, fish or veggie. Served with rice and beans – exactly like Zatarain’s. Hmmm. BUTTHETACOS – was shredded chicken drowning in Frank’s Hot sauce, topped with a glob of blue cheese dressing. There had been a buffalo chicken wrap listed that was described like that — so, I asked the waitress if there had been a mix-up? She told me that’s how their tacos are – and everyone loves them! Did not acknowledge the difference in a Frank Hot Sauce bath and taco seasoning. Waitress was totally mystified how I couldn’t see that those were ‘tacos’. Whatever. If you’re going to do an interpretation of taco – at least note it on the menu. Please?

I went here for brunch. The food was actually quite tasty. the issue was the drinks. I am used to going to the South end one where they make proper drinks. I have been to the Southie one a few times now and the issue is the drinks. They are super weak! Their signature brunch drink is he Executive Mimosa which is basically a super charged version of a Mimosa. At $ 14.00 a drink these are supposed to be strong and should be at this high price. The South end and Newberry St. locations make them properly. This location is struggling, could it possibly be that it is located in Southie and they are making weak ass drinks? We told the waitress and our 3rd round was just as lame and weak as the first 2. I think I am giving up on this location. 75 dollars spent on drinks that were not made properly and were weak. A shame as the spot is great. I will stick to the other 2 locations, if I am going to spend that much on booze, drinks need to be made properly and not watered down!

I took a date here a few weeks ago and was disappointed. Our server never came so I had to go ask the hostess for service after 15 minutes. A server from the bar took care of our drinks because our server was preoccupied with other things. Our server finally came after I placed an order with another server to check in. She was comely and cheerful. I can honestly say I’ve never had a happier person arrive to check in on her customers when someone else had to take care of her table. The place wasn’t that busy and she seemed aloof. The food itself was just OK and quite expensive in terms of value. Drinks were no different. The candle at the table was a nice touch yet it burnt out and was not replaced despite my request. My date and I received an apology from Raphael the manager who was professional and assured me this was not the norm. He took care of half the bill which was a nice gesture, but it still was a negative experience overall. I’d give this place another chance because of the hostess and Raphael but it could be awhile before I return.

I go there Monday’s for their 50 cent wings. I just say the wings are big and juicy and the sauce is also on point. If you order buffalo wings you also get celery and carrots and blue cheese. The value is so good! I go there often after climbing. Totally worth it if you’re in town on a Monday

One of the worst places I have ever been, fish special tasted like it was last weeks and was left under the heat lamp to sun bathe. The server never came back to ask how it was, just dropped the over $ 100 bill off. The wine was awful and still no question from the server if the wine or the meal was ok. Dump if you ask me, unless you sand paper your palate!

I love it here! The food is good, the service is good, and I love the decorations and ambience! I’ve been in for brunch, for dinners, and just for drinks. If there was ever anything at all wrong w the experience the staff makes sure to go above and beyond to make it right! Today our eggs were slightly over cooked. We informed our server just so they could prevent it from happening on other dishes. They took the meal off of our bill entirely even though we didn’t ask for that at all! But they wanted to make sure we were happy! I would definitely recommend Stephi’s in Southie for anyone looking for a good meal or a nice place to go for drinks.

Were in the neighborhood so stopped into Stephi’s after looking at the menus of the few other restaurants nearby and determined that Stephi’s had the most diverse menu. The food was good, service was very good, but the sangria was really sub-par and expensive. Really I want to give 3 ½ stars but rounding up to 4 for great service. We shared had lobster guacamole, sausage flat bread and chicken fried steak, and then had the apple pie bread pudding with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce for dessert. Everything we tried was pretty good to very good. My least favorite being the chicken fried steak because the meat was tasteless, and the gravy was only creamy and also kind of tasteless. Favorite was the lobster guac. It wasn’t a traditional guac more like 1⁄3 guac 1⁄3 corn salsa 1⁄3 lobster meat. I really liked it because the corn added a nice sweet touch and there was plenty of lobster meat. The dessert we got was FANTASTIC. Bread pudding had great consistency and flavor, lots of caramel sauce, and the ice cream was very good quality. Would definitely order this again. Like I said the only real disappointment of the meal was the pitcher of sangria we ordered. It was $ 39 and literally poured barely 4 glasses. It was also very weak and had minimal flavor. That was definitely a rip off. If we are in the neighborhood again we would definitely return and just NOT order the sangria.

Came here to meet up with friends for breakfast/more brunch time by the time we all met up. The place is very nicely decorated, a very nice place to come for lunch and dinner and drinks. The have a cool way to order a Bloody Mary drinks, just select what you want on it on a piece of paper and your l set. The brunch menu is definitely more lunch than breakfast so don’t expect your occasional breakfast menu from the diner down the street. The food was good small but some what over priced. This is definitely the place to come after a night of drinking and your looking to continue with very light food.

I will start off with saying this, Sam is an awesome bartender and was very attentive. From what I saw he was the only one working the front. Pros: I came in with family and told him I really needed a drink and that I would like to sit with by the windows(Yes I was totally Demanding Mandy) and he had no problem with that. The Red Sangria I ordered was awesome-ly strong and fruity. We also ended up ordering buffalo and bbq chicken wings from the appetizer menu and it was so delish! The sauce was flavorful and we were licking our fingers afterwards. The local itself was also very beautiful and intimate with candle-lights at every table. Cons: None will definitely be back when I am in Boston.

I don’t know what to say except I’d marry this place if I could. It’s super conveniently located next to the red line Broadway T stop(& a little too conveniently located near my yoga studio). I’ve been here for brunch and dinner and love pretty much everything I’ve ever gotten. Burgers, oysters, bloody mary steak tips & eggs… you name it! Not to mention the wait staff is overall super accommodating, friendly & attentive. They also have fun specials running all summer long– be sure to stop by and take advantage! Last piece of advice: DEFINITELY get a wine flight.

Came here on St Paddys day and it was packed! Great crowd and very festive. My favorite part of the whole experience was the service. Even though there were a ton of people, both the manager and the waitress were both very attentive. We got mimosas and bloody Mary’s to start. Kind of pricey but we had a good view of the parade. I got the burger, which was average. I wouldn’t get it again. My friends got the tuna melt and the turkey sandwich, which again were average. The best parts of the menu were the quesadilla, French fries, and the vegi panini. There were a few mix ups, like the bill and a misplaced credit card, but again the waitress and managers were quick to fix it. Overall average food, exceptional service.

I’m upping my rating only because the bartender made good on my request for bleu cheese stuffed olives in the dirty martini I ordered. I always request them but it’s rare that a bar stocks them. So I was a happy camper from the get go! We ordered Nachos to start. Hard to screw up with those. Followed by Panko Crusted Ahi Tuna with Spicy Asian Noodles. Very tasty. We also tried the Grilled Tenderloin Salad. That’s when things kind of fell apart for me. We ordered the meat medium but it came out medium rare. And there were only two pieces of tenderloin — one of which was really fatty. And the field greens were soggy with too much dressing. For $ 21.00 that dish turned out to be a train wreck. Service was good and the other orders were a success. I probably should have sent the Grilled Tenderloin Salad back but I hate being«that guy» so I suffered in silence. I’ll give this place another try some other night and see how it goes. So because for the most part the food was good and I got my bleu cheese stuffed olives the 4 stars sticks.

The seven of us had brunch this past Sunday here. The food was on point from the pecan cinnamon bun to the bubbly service. Pros: –The food was delicious. Things to try would be the omelets, pecan cinnamon buns, mimosas, open faced turkey sandwich and eggs Benedict. –The establishment is clean, comfortable and lots of seating is available. –The service was good, friendly, and courteous. –Convenient location not too far from the«T». –Prices are moderate to high. –Both cash and credit are accepted.

First of all they have POWERUP — for all you who do not know what PowerUP is, it is portable cell phone chargers for customers. None of this giving your phone to a bartender stuff or having to bring your cable around with you. Whether you’re sitting at the bar, in the living room, upstairs at the nightclub etc. you literally just open a tab as collateral and they hand you a universal, portable charger for FREE! It’s awesome, because I can literally charge my phone from virtually anywhere in the venue. And they work awesome! I’ve seen something sort of similar elsewhere and it gave me like 10% battery and died… these things are awesome. Finally a convenience I actually need! As for food, service and atmosphere… all top notch! Extremely friendly staff and they’ve got awesome cheese plates, BOMB brunch and they’re a ton of just really attractive people that frequent this venue. So between all those things I will be coming back. potentially as a regular now!
