Established in 2014.

Hard Target Krav Maga was brought to life in April 2014 shortly after our founder separated from active duty military service. As an active duty USAF Airman, Derek Wright was a Krav Maga Worldwide Force Training Instructor. Upon separating from active duty, Derek teamed with Krav Maga Worldwide and became a licensee of KMA. We believe in real fitness and real self-​defense.

Business Owner

Derek Wright is a former active duty Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) Special Agent and currently serves as an USAF reservist with AFOSI. Derek was first introduced to Krav Maga while assigned to a specialized unit within AFOSI. He then became a certified Krav Maga Worldwide (KMW) Force Training instructor. He has taught deployed US military members and foreign friendly forces in Europe and Africa. He is now dedicated to teaching the same life saving techniques of Krav Maga to individuals seeking better overall fitness and practical self-​defense.
