Business Owner

Dr. Phelan is a 1983 graduate of Tufts School of Dental Medicine, and a 1983 Pierre Fauchaud Academy Award winner. He is a past president of Southeastern District of the Mass Dental Society and currently on the Ethics Committee. Dr. Phelan also represents the State of Massachusetts as a delegate of the AGD. He is also a master with the Academy of General Dentistry, an honor bestowed upon aprroximately 2 percent of all dentist.

I was new in town and hadn’t been to the dentist in at least three years. Dr. Phelan and all his staff are very knowledgeable, adept and friendly. I feel as though I got great dental care. They also make it really easy by scheduling your next appointment and by providing text and or email notifications prior to the appointment.
Only bad things are there is always a considerable wait if you make an afternoon appointment (my experience was at least 20 minutes), I felt they were taking too many xrays, (just because my insurance covers it, doesn’t mean I want the radiation pointed at my head yearly) and I do feel there is a sales aspect to the appointments.
I would absolutely have continued going here if my insurance didn’t switch.

I discovered Dr. Phelan after some research to find a great dentist for my husband. We sat in for consultation and felt that Dr. Phelan was the definitely the right choice. His demeanor was more that of an incredibly likable guy who happens to know everything about dentistry, as opposed to some lab coat who was all business. My husband has begun treatment and is very happy. I hadn’t been to a dentist in 8 yrs, after experiencing tremendous pain at the hands of another dentist’s office. I sucked it up, and called Dr. Phelan’s office for my own appointment. ABSOLUTELY NO PAIN. The staff is great, and the hygienist, CherylI was incredibly gentle. I’m a patient for life. Unbelievable.

I have been to many dentist offices in the past many many years… this is by far the best dentist office I have ever been to. Dr Phelan has a great staff working for him, at the front desk and inside. Everyone is genuinely friendly and caring. They want to make sure YOU are comfortable and understand everything that is going on.
Dr Phelan gave me a very thorough initial exam, best I have ever had. A great choice for dentistry !!!
