Cannacruz Botanical Society is an unincorporated not-​for-​profit association of legal medical cannabis patients pursuant to CA Health and Safety Code 11 362.5, 11 362.7 et seq. and Attorney General, Edmund Brown’s, Guidelines For The Lawful Operation of a Cooperative or Collective.

We feel compelled to demonstrate, through example, how the responsible production and provision of medical cannabis, through a true closed-​circuit and not-​for-​profit model, can create and sustain a vital wellness syndicate of patients and healthcare professionals while simultaneously aiding in countless community improvement endeavors.

As life-​long Santa Cruz residents ourselves, we wish to answer the call for the transfer of medical cannabis, its revenues and therapeutic attributes, and its provision and allocation, from the shady corners of the black market and into the open light and caring hands of the medicine’s safe and responsible consumers.
