History

Established in 2001.

Sparks Ranch is/was a private residence, over 100 people came up the very long driveway asking if I would share this spectacular property (partially seen from the road). They asked to have Weddings and Reunions. After eight years I conceded! (after promising a friend that I would open my doors to the public…10 minutes after saying this my first wedding drove up the driveway!!!). In 2001, 250 guests shared my space for three days! It was so unbelievably rewarding to be able to ‘pay it forward!’ I have many referrals, so very little advertising needed. I have lived here over 19 years and every day is a glimpse at Heaven! I want to continue sharing this Godsend until I die! My guests have complete exclusivity and time freedom, to do as they please, when they please, something very unique to the resort business.

Meet the Business Owner

Valerie S.

Business Owner

I have been an entrepreneur since I was born! I have done very well, success, failures and more successes! I was a single parent raising two children, who are now very successful themselves and have given me seven grand children. I retired in 1995 when Sparks Ranch became part of my life. I had visited Sonora in the ’60’s, and swore that I would return. I share my ‘piece of Heaven’ with the public part of the time and celebrate with my family and friends the balance of the time. I am doing ‘what I love’, the money follows! I live by this motto.
