Jim B.

Business Owner

Owner, Jim Beaty, grew up in Kodiak, Alaska on a 24,300-acre cattle ranch, appreciating the grandeur of the great outdoors. In the ‘60s he earned his Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Wyoming, Laramie.

After graduation, and several successful business ventures over the span of 15 years in the Bay Area, California, Jim settled in Sonora, attracted by the beauty of the Gold Country. He has since made strong roots in the community as a thriving business man and active volunteer (30-​year Lions Club member).

Mr. Beaty has been in commercial and residential real estate for 30 years, having taken over ownership of Mother Lode Mobile Estates in 1977. He is a licensed mobile dealer and welcomes your next visit to Sonora!
