John did a great job for us in rekeying our locks. He was kind, professional and very reasonable. Also, he was able to work us in on short notice. I highly recommend him to anyone in need of residential lock services. I’d definitely use him again if we need a locksmith.

We called John out to open a locked door, and he not only fixed the door but went on to do a full repair on a sliding glass door that was way beyond the call of duty, and he fixed other problem doors and locks. Friendly and dedicated, I can’t say enough about the service.

John was really great. I called him at 8 in the morning after deciding the night before that I didn’t want to leave my house the next day until I had the locks changed – after a certain someone moved out suddenly. *ahem*
John said he would be there in half an hour and was true to his word. He gave me a very fair estimate without any pressure – and I immediately agreed.
John was interesting, kind, understanding, and funny. I would hire him again without question – and if I ever need this sort of service again I will!

John provides a great local service. John has come to my home twice; once because I locked my only set of car keys in the car (on a holiday weekend), and recently because I locked myself out of the house (at 5:30 on a Friday night). Both times he answered the phone himself (a real person? what a surprise), arrived at my place within 15 minutes (how refreshing … he did what he said he would do) and got the job done within 10 minutes for a reasonable price (doesn’t get better than that!). He made extra keys for me both times, and hid a magnetic key box in my car too. All the while keeping up a friendly conversation. Thanks John!

John is a great locksmith and very interesting guy. He was kind enough to come out to our house on Saturday afternoon. We had a keyless deadbolt we needed installed as well as a repair to the back door. He didn’t try to sell me on any fancy hardware and made the best of the repair to the back door (which the previous owner probably did himself).
He gave us an estimate and said he could do it the same day if I wanted. The keyless deadbolt was a bit strange and the steel door that he had to bore a hole through didn’t help. However, he was patient through the entire three hours and didn’t make me feel pressured on time.
We started talking about the raw diet that I give to my dogs and he gave me some other tips in the homeopathy area. He also suggested some contractor friends of his near Napa. He forgot one phone number, and today he called me with it – totally unexpected but super nice.
I would definitely contact him again if I need help with my locks. He even help me with the electrical aspect of the lock and was super careful about reading all the instructions in the manual.

I am so pleased with John’s service. I have used him twice now over the years. He is always very friendly and down to earth. He is extremely honest and helpful. He not only changed our locks but he fixed our doors that weren’t closing right and tried not to charge for that extra service. Then he ran out to his truck and ran off as many keys as I needed. Also, I got same day service. Thank you John!

I haven’t had to use their locksmith services yet (knock on wood) but I did get a bunch of keys made here. You call to make an appointment, John meets you at the shop, runs off a bunch of keys, and you’re on your way. Solid, friendly service. It’s super convenient if you know when you’ll be free, but don’t have enough time to wait in line at a hardware store.
