Just finished a tasting at Sebastiani. Beautiful winery, delicious wine, and Diane was very friendly and knowledgeable. Be sure to check out the giant Redwood vats! Very impressive place

Great winery with wide selection. Our group was a bunch of red drinkers and left here with several bottles. Gary was our host and took great care of us. Join the club for as little as 2 bottles, twice a year. Gives you free tasting at a variety of wineries.

Lovely little wine tasting bar. Tried eight different wines, including their popular ‘Cherryblock’. The lady serving us was very knowledgable and managed to sell us a wine club membership, which also meant the tasting was complimentary :) My only comment would be that as a not-very-knowledgable wine drinker I would have appreciated a bit more information about the wines themselves and what I should be looking for(I could have asked I suppose but apparently I’m too British) — either from our server or wrirten down to read. I did enjoy the comparison aspect though; two wines are served side by side so that you can compare and contrast, which I found very interesting.

This place definitely looks luxurious. All the workers looked professional and the building was beautiful. Wish they had chairs for us to sit for the wine taste.

This review is strictly regarding service. There was no service. My boyfriend n I decided to stop by this winery because our friend recommended it to us. So we got there, walked into the tasting room, walked right up to the tasting area where the associates were. We stood there for awhile n the place wasn’t even busy, No one attended to us at all, so we decided to walk around n come back, still no service. Very disappointed not coming back.

Rude staff, we did not have reservations so didn’t want to serve us. Tasting room was empty! No wonder!

Diane was absolutely AMAZING! Such a sweetheart she made awesome recommendations I actually hate her right now j/k lol because her recommendations got me buying two cases of wine! The staff was so service oriented I really enjoyed my experience. The wine was reasonably priced and tastes great!!! Highly recommend with enthusiasm ! You won’t be disappointed and will walk away with at least 1 bottle of something :-) thank you Sebastiani crew!

Had a great time there last week. During the week was nice and not so busy. Nice grounds. Worth stopping in if you don’t mind paying for wine tasting.

Really beautiful old and giant barrels in the back. Beautiful wood carvings and a cool display that explains how the yearly cycle in the vineyards works. They also have the cutest gift shop and yummy pizza! Really nice outdoor space. One of the nicer indoor standing tasting areas. We will be back!

Amazing customer service and amazing wines. Diane was awesome with us. She taught us alot and treated us like family. She is a huge supporter of the military. we traveled 6 hours from the other wine country of the Central Coast. We will drive back again ! Thanks for great experience.

My friend and I went to Sebastiani’s for a final tasting on our trip to Sonoma. Larry was such a great person to show us all the different types of wines and teach us what to look for. He let us try many of the whites(which we preferred to reds) and we ended up buying a few bottles cause we were sold, mostly in part to Larry’s helpfulness! The winery is walking distance from Sonoma Square which is really nice, but they also have their own parking lot as well. It is beautiful on the inside with a great ambiance. I can see this place getting full but we went during a rainy weekend. We just walked right up to the bar and got served. Definitely would go back!

This vineyard is absolutely beautiful and the wines are tasty, but what really makes this a 5-star review for my group was our sommelier, Dennis. Friendly and clearly passionate about his job, Dennis gave us digestible, interesting tidbits of history about the winery and each wine he served us instead of just the usual speech about what types of grapes are in each bottle. He gave us information that makes it worth it to go to a winery in person, not just read the label on the wine bottle. We had already been to several tastings that day and had had fun at all of them, but Dennis really created more of an experience for us than we might ordinarily receive. If you visit Sebastiani, make sure you snag him as your sommelier!

Sandy our host was the best! Loved the mini-historical tour she gave us. The wine was fantastic! Thanks for the extra glass for our«ghost» friend ;)

Perfect place to celebrate your Anniversary! Behind-the-scenes tour of the oldest, continuously operating vineyard in the Sonoma Valley, intimate wine tasting of Private Reserve selections, and a gourmet Lunch by the fountain in the Tuscan gardens. PRICELESS!

I came here with a group and we did a private tasting under their gazebo. The tasting had a good selection of reds and whites though i only really liked one of them. The wines for purchase was really affordable too. We also had lunch in their courtyard which was really nice with a fountain in the middle. I went inside to check out the space and it was really open, clean and spacious. Overall, it’s a nice place(and dog friendly) to enjoy a glass of wine and hang out.

Beautiful winery just a few short blocks walking distance from downtown Sonoma square. This winery is super dog friendly. The interior tasting room is spacious and comfortable — you can taste standing up by the counter or stead at one of their big tables. There is also outdoor seating by their beautiful grounds and fountain. Definitely a great place to lounge and enjoy the gorgeous weather. In terms of wine — I liked their sauvignon blanc, chardonnay, and one of their pinot noirs, but their wine is relatively simplistic. I wasn’t a big fan of either of their cabernet sauvignon. Great entry level winery. If you frequent Napa/Sonoma, maybe skip this place in favor of something else more complex. The staff was very friendly and gives you a few extra pours if you ask. I recommend Marvin, who is also their resident chocolate and wine pairing guy. He’s super nice and will explain a lot of things to you if you’re new to wine.

This winery is nice and pretty, it’s fun looking at the super large barrels in the back, pretty fountain and grounds in the front. But I thought this place was… cheap LOL. This is Sonoma, not Napa. We told them we were here celebrating 2 people’s birthdays and I’ve always experienced wineries in Sonoma to give«extra» in their pours. That was certainly not the case here.

Great Dog Friendly Winery! We loved this stop on our dog friendly wine tasting trip! They had a very cute tasting counter with a great area of goods for sale. Everything from snacks to cute crafty items to dog treats! We didn’t feel rushed or pressured into buying anything. They have a great yard with a beautiful fountain. Wonderful for a picnic or glass of wine outside!

This is first time in 32 years that we have been back to Sebastiani. I guess we have been away too long, as the tasting room is in a bigger building. I remember it being closer to the center of Sonoma, but it still is a beautiful winery, and our server was very friendly. We purchased a zinfandel, which to me seemed much more fruity than I remembered. It was great to be back as I don’t see too many bottles of Sebastiani on the shelves in Colorado. It has a large parking lot and a nice little gift shop area in the tasting room. My daughter purchased some cute little plastic wine glasses there that are great for travelling with.
